Sounds like Thor since they say it would start filming early next year.

GotG is the one that starts in Feb/March.

Thor, not having a director yet, won't start til late summer at the earliest, Feige said it'll start around the same time as Spidey (June/July), but I think it'll probably later in the year. Though it might indeed film there, I would think they'd wait until they have a director on board before location scouting.

And of course Cpt Mavel isn't filming next year at all. They've got some mixed up info there.

I'm intrigued as to when Captain Marvel will film. IF she show's up in the IF pt. 1 AND 2, then whoever they cast is going to have to do part of that 9 month filming stint that starts at the end of next year...and then immediately jump into filming their solo movie. That's gonna be an interesting schedule, to say the least.

I'm hoping one of the more legit guys (Borys Kit, Justin Kroll, Jeff Sneider, etc.) makes a comment about it. Either to support or shade him. They sometimes do that and comment on each other's scoops.

Kevin Feige said they were going to hire a writer AND a director before they got to casting the lead. They have a pair of writers (who are still at the early draft days with their script) but no director yet.

So why I should I believe ANYONE is at the top of Marvel's list?

Well...not an attempt to add credence to this rumor or anything (because again, not biting), but it's very possible they have a director lined up. Marvel tends to have people on board long before they actually announce them. Remember how long Chadwick Boseman was "rumored" for Black Panther? He was playing coy about that all the way back during the Draft Day press tour in April 2014 (and he'd been rumored for quite some time before that, even) before Marvel finally made it official at the end of October. So while I'm not saying they DO have a director lined up already, I wouldn't rule it out.

How far away are you from picking directors for Black Panther and Captain Marvel?

FEIGE I think by the end of the summer, we'll have most of those things. Black Panther especially.
