General Ross needs to be a Skrull. Coulson could be a Skrull rebel who got converted by meeting Cap after collecting his trading cards.

I think Maria Hill should be since she has been absent for so long.

With the Kree Ronan has to be involved especially if Captain Marvel is supposed to be set in the 90s and at the time of the first Guardians it was set in the 2010s so Ronan would have to be alive in the 90s

Now, I would love to see Ronan brought back. They could conceivably use the movie to retroactively explain why he's the way he is in GotG.

I think the Ravengers (Stallone's group) can appear. Marvel mentioned them being in future movies.

I hope not. That's a plot line that should revolve around the Avengers and the expanding cosmic space. Let the sequel be a more personal Carol centric story

God, I love that look. I am genuinely amped. I'm glad they didn't go with the skimpy outfit (though I was sure they wouldn't). So now we have more information and only a couple of years to wait......

Maybe Carol is MIA because she is protecting the last Infinity gem. With Thor 3 only being 100minutes I don't believe they can involve a gem story. The movie will focus on Thor and his journey. I don't believe Wakanda has it they are a secretive place and wouldn't want a possible danger. We know Shield/Howard found the Tesseract and they had it all the way to Avengers 1. They may have studied it and during 90s another incident happen with another stone.

I thought she was going to be a pilot in IWs too before the news. I was thinking Ross would send the military after Thanos. Similar to Dragonball Z when they send military to take Cell down or in Avengers 1 where the nuke was ordered. Now that it is set in the 90s and a lead in for A4 I am starting to think she has the stone and vowed to protect it with her life.

From what I remember, that's not saying a whole lot. LOL. Toni Collette was frelling brilliant. I didn't watch the later episodes (yet), but nobody was what could be considered in any way "normal".

When you watch the first episode, be prepared to be confused. There was a point where I went "Oh.....NOW I get it".

LOL true, but for her character, it's a pretty big deal. She has the most satisfying journey of the show, imo.

He's been mentioned a few times (although before we knew the film would take place in the 90s). Makes sense with the military background. I'd love to see him appear here in a non-Iron Man solo.

Nah. Post credits scenes are usually added last minute. If they wanted a post credits scene for Carol, Marvel would likely wait until the script is finalized

It's not hard if you're like me and figure that the only time people lie is when their lips are moving. I still believe there is going to be some sort of reference to, or glimpse of, CM/Carol that is reasonably high profile. I just don't think they'll miss the opportunity to give CM a nice nudge in a movie that will be seen by everyone and their extended family. Maybe Strange uses the time stone to figure out where the last (or other) stone(s) is/are and that somehow ties into Carol.

Anyway, that 90's thing caught me completely off guard, but I have no doubt it'll work out.

Does anyone remember the CM comic series Brie was reading on a couch that was posted awhile back?
