For some reason I see Marvel trying to turn her into Wonder Woman instead of making her like how she is in the comics. Meaning I just see Marvel watering her down to make her more likeable.

The EW cover is pretty underwhelming, but I am liking the actual still shots from the movie. The Skrulls look exactly how I imagined them to look even if they do remind of the aliens from Star Trek.

The cover underwhelmed me. Honestly, my reaction was ‘well that’s Brie Larson’, I didn’t see Carol at all.

The first look photo however, yeah cool, I can see that as Carol.

Agreed. There's something about the 'first look' pic that screams Carol more than the cover pic. I did like the array of pics though.

The EW covers are always atrocious, this is actually one of the better ones believe it or not.

That's what they did with many of their previous heroes. I doubt we'll ever see this Carol beat the crap out of a fellow superhero and arrest her in front of her crying kid.

I like that if so. I’m sure we’ll see an origin too maybe by flashback, but wouldn’t mind seeing the film open with her powers in an action scene.
