Carrie's in FINE hands I'm sure. It's her battle, we KNOW she can beat it
As someone who worked at UCLA for many years, I can tell you for SURE that the specialists at UCLA are frelling rock stars. They are not only practitioners, but also have research and teaching responsibilities. Their resumes are jaw dropping. They saved my wife's life. I hope they can do the same for Carrie.
Oh Have no doubt that UCLA more than capable to care for her, but if her body can't save itself is another story. As someone who worked at UCLA for many years, I can tell you for SURE that the specialists at UCLA are frelling rock stars. I'm feeling extremely anxious right now. Star Wars has been and still is a huge part of my life so this is almost like hearing that this happened to a family member. I hope she pulls through.![]()

2016, yeah, F-you
It's been reported that she stopped breathing for 10 minutes. The reports are murky right now but there is a difference between a heart attack and cardiac arrest, which can have no signs of breathing. Often the victims can die within minutes.
I'm just saying that she didn't die on the plane as they were hauling her off to the hospital, and now she's on a ventilator. I'm saying that's a good sign, but I wanna say it is. But anything can happen though. I'm no doctor.
