Carrie Fisher suffers heart attack

She seemed fine enough on the Graham Norton show and I was told she was also on 8 out of then cats. I don't think she'd have known about any condition that would have risked her health. I think Graham was a friend of hers also. The time of year must hust add to the sadness for her friends and family.

How long ago was the Graham Norton appearance? I would like to see it.

When was her appearance on Graham Norton?

Nice avatar.

Think it was a couple of weeks back. She was talking up her book. She's been on a few times. Should be plenty of clips on Youtube, but the recent one should probably still be on the BBC's website.

Cheers.

Edit: I looked it up. Series 20, episode 10. 9th Dec.

When all the information was coming from her publicists and family, and not her, I had a bad feeling that her condition was much more serious than they were letting on. After you go unconscious without breathing for nearly 15 minutes, you really aren't out of the woods for a while.

Some Twitter reactions from the SW universe:

Mark Hamill:
no words #Devastated

Anthony Daniels:
I thought I had got what I wanted under the tree. I didn't. In spite of so many thoughts and prayers from so many. I am very, very sad.

Billy Dee Williams:
I'm deeply saddened at the news of Carrie's passing. She was a dear friend, whom I greatly respected and admired. The force is dark today!

Peter Mayhew:
There are no words for this loss. Carrie was the brightest light in every room she entered. I will miss her dearly.

David Prowse:
I am extremely sad to learn of Carrie's passing. She was wonderful to work with. Condolences to her friends, family & fans around the world.

I'm waiting to hear what Harrison Ford has to say.

More statements from the SW universe:

Harrison Ford:
Carrie was one-of-a-kind…brilliant, original. Funny and emotionally fearless. She lived her life, bravely." As he grieves the loss of his co-star, Harrison said his thoughts are with her daughter Billie Lourd, her mother Debbie Reynolds, her brother Todd Fisher and "her many friends. We will all miss her.

George Lucas:
In Star Wars she was our great and powerful princess—feisty, wise and full of hope in a role that was more difficult than most people might think. My heart and prayers are with Billie, Debbie and all Carrie's family, friends and fans. She will be missed by all.

LucasFilm President Kathleen Kennedy:
Carrie holds such special place in the hearts of everyone at Lucasfilm it is difficult to think of a world without her. She was Princess Leia to the world but a very special friend to all of us. She had an indomitable spirit, incredible wit, and a loving heart. Carrie also defined the female hero of our age over a generation ago," Kennedy said. "Her groundbreaking role as Princess Leia served as an inspiration of power and confidence for young girls everywhere. We will miss her dearly.

Stephen fry was good friends with Carrie fisher. Fry posted a picture of some of the quirky gifts she gave him.

Besides star wars I really enjoyed Carrie's recent recurring role in sitcom catastrophe. Carrie was recently filming for season 3 in the UK.

Rest now Carrie. Thanks for the inspiration.

Why do you say that? Is he not going to say anything? Are they not on good terms? Even so, I'd still expect him to pay tribute.
I saw something on Facebook. I can't find it now

Is there any mystery about if or what he would say?

Carrie was an incredible person. I feel lucky I got to know her, and heartbroken.

I always forget that Warwick Davis was still a kid when he got involved with Star Wars.
