Deadpool 2 Cast Cable

I'm pulling for Michael Biehn or Steven Lang. I'd also think that Eric Dane would be a good choice but he was already Multiple Man in X3. (Which is yet another reason to hate that film.)

Yeah I can see why the Stephen Lang choice is popular, Liam Neeson would be another I think could pull it off.

Jon Hamm would be cool, but he doesn't seem to care for superhero films, so he's a pipe dream. Lang has the look, but not the age.

I'm gonna have to go with Keira Knightly.

Yeah Lang is too old now, not gonna happen. They won't cast someone who will be 73 in 10 years.

Need someone like Karl Urban, Tom Hrady, Idris Elba, Eric Bana, John Hamm or Daniel Craig.

I think Tom Hardy may be too young, Reynolds is in his 40's now (even though he still looks about 28) but still Cable needs to have some age and gravitas over DP to be able to keep him in check.

I guess a lot will depend on the budget as for what level of actor they can go for.

My point was more they need an actor in their late 30's to late 40's with a strong presence and acting credibility. Not just someone who looks like they could play the role now or 10 years ago. That's just makeup and hair dye. Cable will be a headlining character with X-Force at some point and will need a legit actor to sell audiences. If Fox want's to invest, then they need to throw down the money.

He's too major of an addition for them to just settle, and I'm sure Reynolds and crew will cast accordingly.

Yeah they dont want to get the character wrong now they got off to a great start with DP and the fact Cable will have ties to X-Men/X-Force. I'm just cant see who the obvious choice is at the moment but they will need good chemistry with Reynolds.

It will be very interesting to see who they go for in the end and will be good fun guessing.

I'm not sure that Kurt Russell will work since he's allegedly in the next Guardians film and Idris Elba is not only unable to be Cable since he'd be playing the son of Tye Sheriden and Sophie Turner but he's also playing a major Marvel character.

I do think that Karl Urban is a good choice, I regret not thinking of it myself.

Josh Brolin could fill out the role pretty well and he's in the right age range.

It's too bad Jeremy Renner is already Hawkeye because he fills out a flattop pretty well.

I think there are actually a lot of potential candidates.

I yesterday played and finished Deadpool game. I really enjoyed Cable and Deadpool relationship and jokes in the game. So can't wait to see who they cast for a movie
