Tom Jane or Mel Gibson for me.
Has there been recent versions of Cable that are a bit skinnier? I'm used to the way Liefeld drew him and I don't think there's a single human alive that is that muscular and still act.
Jaime as Sansa's son?I'm going to throw Nikolaj Coster-Waldau's name out there.
The short sightedness with some of these picks. You absolutely can't put an old man in this role. Mid 30s to late 40s is the age range. Someone who can play the role 10 years or more with out any loss of step. You can age someone through makeup.
Reynolds is 39... I'd like a 42-45 year old Cable
Lang wants it. I wouldn't mind seeing him in the role, but I'd like someone just a little bit younger (thinking late 40's-early 50's).

Little bit?15-20 years younger is a little? That dude is 64. Way too old.
Problem with Lang is that they would ideally want to cast an actor to play Cable for AT LEAST 5 years (probably closer to 10). How will his body hold up at 70?
Man, if Lang is willing to play Cable at 70 there's no excuse for Hugh to quit being Wolverine before he's 50.
That being said, no to Lang. Jon Hamm, Joel Edgerton, Karl Urban, any of those names but Lang.
Seconded.I'm actually going to be disappointed if Keira Knightley doesn't have at least a cameo in Deadpool 2.
Yeah, I was messing around. I know Lang wouldn't be putting himself through what Hugh puts himself through to get into Wolverine shape with 6 months worth of training and all those 5 am mornings.Pretty certain Lang isn't doing the Wolverine workout like Hugh is. Hugh does a lot of work to get into Wolverine shape. It isn't something you want to do forever. Especially since he keeps having to have some medical procedures.
