I saw many fancastings, and they were just plain terrible for the most part, but this one is decent.

I think Isabel Lucas has a great look but I'm not sure about her acting. Saoirse Ronan is a strong actress and looks kinda alien. We need someone that exudes strength and fire though. Perhaps someone that looks a little like the woman playing Superman's mom. I'm just not sure about anyone from the list would make a great Supergirl.

I agree. It's the hair, the dark eyes, the face. The whole damn package is fine. t: She has the most suitable look I feel. As with all the other candidates, it's the acting ability that is up for questioning.

In a nutshell, she'd get a thumbs up from me and so much more...I wish lol

Just my 2 cents...Jennifer Lawrence is the obvious "go-to" girl which makes her a safe bet, but rarely do I like it when famous actors play fantastical roles. Amber Heard is friggin' sexy....as in when most men see her they don't think "wow, she's pretty!" they think "I'd like to pound that cake!" and I don't see Supergirl being an overly sexy superheroine. Amber Heard would be perfect for someone like Witchblade or Fathom. Isabel Lucas...haven't seen her in anything but TF2 and Immortals, both of which she just played eye candy. Sara Paxton...haven't seen her in anything and IMO she's too baby-faced. Ashley Tisdale, haven't seen her in anything AND I don't care for her look. She's certainly pretty and she doesn't have a baby face, but she doesn't look like she can take a beating. Chloë Grace Moretz...love her acting abilities, but she's already Hit Girl and she doesn't exactly look like a genetically perfect being even though I think she's plenty cute. I love Saoirse Ronan and I can definitely see her in the role but something about her look gives a 'cold' vibe. She's my close 2nd choice though! Brit Marling...never heard of her, never seen her in anything, and I don't like her look.

That leaves my choice...Teresa Palmer. To me she has the whole package. Perfect looks and great acting ability. She has striking eyes, a proportionate face, a great body, and she's able to act both tough and sensitive in the same scene. She's got my vote.

Lawrence is a great actress, but I can't accept her look. Besides, she's already Mystique. Heard is super-sexy, but there should be something else for the role. Doesn't look like a "teen"-enough to me. Also, not sure about her acting abilities.

Palmer is like a perfect choice. And, honestly, I don't have any other ideas. Unless they find some unknown.

I believe a strong actress can act strong but I'm going to contradict myself and say we need someone that would just naturally conveys it the way Cavill exudes Superman in real life. I believe a lot of characters that actors play are expressions of their real selves. And in that case I can't think of any strong actresses off the top of my head. But I haven't really thought about it either. Suggestions?
