I would accept Cranston if they decided he was the right choice, but Aaron Paul? he doesn't have that much range, he plays the "punk mixed in with the wrong crowd" type very well but other than that...

First he's too old, second I meant how well Cranston and Paul played off each other it would be similar to Norman & Harry.

In addition to Breaking Bad, I've seen him in Need For Speed and the Exodus movie. His presence in the latter was really friggin jarring. Though that might be because he's clearly not an Egyptian
"Yo, Mr. Moses. Wud up, *****?" :o

Let Aaron Paul be Shocker. Then, if Cranston does get cast as Norman (still not my top choice) they can still have scenes together as Thunderbolts.

Get those two kids from Kingsman and I'd be good.

Samuel L. Jackson as Spider-Man and Colin Firth as Mary-Jane it is!

I don`t think you understood the reference. He clearly meant Michael Caine and Mark Hamill. The chemistry between them is off the charts.

Unlce Ben- Kevin Kline

Aunt May- Joan Allen

MJ- Saxon Sharbino
(introduced early on, but, not used as love interest til later)

(change the character to a young intern)

I would love Rowe and Wilton. I like Allen and Kline (no ponytail for him though), but I think they need to be more charming. I can see Butterfield working, though I`m not sold on Hawke. Hutcherson couldn`t be Flash because he`s very short, and part of Flash`s character is to be a bigger guy than Peter (I like Egerton as Flash myself). I don`t remember seeing either Sharbino or McMurray before. Gloria Grant is African American though, I don`t think Coleman resembles her that much. But a solid cast nevertheless:up:

ironically I only considered Butterfield for Harry (he's been considered for Peter before) but, it was only when I picked Ethan as Norm, an trying to think of who could be his son, that I thought of him for Harry instead

idk, I feel they could pull off the father/son dynamic good

bullies can be short, that's what would make it kinda ironic an funny
(I was just thinking, how ironic it was, how much different he is now, from since he was up for the role back before TAS-M) as he was like the runt of the litter, underdog, for the role... now after being in Hunger games, he's considered a pretty boy, action star

Gloria Grant is African American though, I don`t think Coleman resembles her that much.
well, she is half black

but, I wasn't really sure who to cast in the role, but I just wanted to bring up that I wanted, Grant, in the movie in general

But a solid cast nevertheless:up:
thanks

If they're going really young for Peter then this guy gets my vote:

Liam James of The Way, Way Back. Only 18.

I could be sold on Saoirse Ronan as Gwen. Not a bad choice at all. Now Jaden Smith as Spider-Man?! You have GOT to be joking!! As for Alexandra Daddario, maybe she'd be better suited for Betty Brant or something.

Cranston as Norman Osborn would be perfect. As long as he doesn't show up in a green Power Ranger suit until the 3rd movie, I'll be satisfied.

Some Sinister 6 suggestions (Because that's apparently still going forwards, albeit in a different way.):

Brian Cox as Doctor Octopus:

Charles Dance as The Vulture:

Need I say more with these two? They're both older guys who play great villains and physically match the characters.

Michael Mando as Shocker:

Perhaps less well known. He's in Orphan Black and Better Call Saul and I've been impressed with him in both. He also plays the villain in Far Cry 3 which I haven't played, but he got quite a bit of acclaim for that. Can play tough and comedic.

Javier Bardem as Mysterio:

He can do weird, I think he's a good fit.

Jessica Chastain as Scorpia:

I've only actually seen her on the help, so this choice is more based on her being rather outspoken about wanting to appear in a superhero movie and the general hype around her joining the Marvel alumni. I think we're bound to get a female villain in the Sinister 6 to mix things up, hence why I've gone with Scorpia over Scorpio.

Karl Urban as Kraven the Hunter:

A talented actor who I think needs more love.

I`ve only ever seen the kid in The Killing. I wasn`t impressed there.

I wouldn`t like a Green Power Ranger suit ever, but I`d love Cranston. Either him or Jason Isaacs.

I really like Cox and Dance. Haven`t ever seen Mando, so I can`t judge. I wouldn`t like Urban as Kraven, and I don`t think Bardem would be Mysterio. He`s a big star, and Mysterio is a lesser role than Doc Ock`s.

I wasn't overly sure of Bardem, but couldn't think of anyone else for the part. Any suggestions?

Bardem is a great actor, I just think he wouldn`t sign for being one of the henchmen (It`s really Doc Ock`s show, perhaps with the Vulture being his Dragon). Some less known names have been suggested, such as Zachary Quinto. James Frain would be wonderful as well, but sadly he`s already been wasted in the MCU through Agent Carter.

Nevertheless, whoever they pick for Mysterio should be both dramatic and ridiculous at the same time.

I could definitely see Quinto. And my concern for Bardem was indeed that he was slightly too big of an actor.

I'd prefer he not show up in a green Power Ranger suit at all. Espically now that he's in the MCU and can fly around in this:

Not a bad list. Not bad at all. At least they're all legit, seasoned actors. Except your pick for Peter, never heard of him. And Aunt Anna probably won't be used.

I think Ethan Hawke is terrible, IMO.

It was sarcasm lol. I hated the suit in SM, one of my biggest gripes of the movie. They need to do it right this time or stay as far away as possible from it. We've had 2 terrible Goblins already (visually anyways).

In all honesty, I'd rather they stay away from the Green Goblin. Play up the Hobgoblin mystery, so that everyone will think it's Norman, only to be Kingsley in the end. That saves Norman to be the big bad of a future Phase.
