Totally only villains I wsnt to be redeemed isnconners, and maybe brock after a point. The rest should be out bright evil dudes. Or just simple crooks or what not.

He would be cool. I also like idea someone said ages ago that dude from the office with the glasses god I blanking on his name. He be interesting.

As for cruise I don't care about his personal life issues. But it would be interesting to see him do a comic book film. I agree he probably be better suited in a one and done type role. But I can't think of any marvel guys at the moment.

So I was watching adi shankar's power rangers short and I was surprised by how badass James Van Der Beek was (believe me, I never thought id say that). I could see him being in the mcu in some capacity as well.

I seen that short. Visually i thought it was cool. But I thought it was crap take on pr. But I wouldn't mind James in a super hero project.

Yeah like a real *****ey villainous role similar to redford's. Patrick Dempsey could too

Dempsey I was rooting to do dr. Strange for awhile. He was rooting for the role awhile back if I recall. But I could see him in mcu some day.

Yeah it's kinda stupid to do a gritty reboot to power rangers (although he explained his reasoning behind it and it made sense).

I think Dempsey's kinda like McConaughey in that he has a bunch of potential that people dont recognize

If we're talking villains, this is who I'd like to see:

Bryan Cranston as Norman Osborn/Green Goblin
- I still say he would absolutely nail it and would be great as a major villain in the MCU for Phase 4
Michael Emerson as Dr. Otto Octavius/Dr. Octopus - He can do timid and sinister evil genius and change on a dime. Check out Person of Interest and Lost
Colm Feore as Adrian Toomes/Vulture
Greg Kinnear as Dr. Curt Conners/Lizard
Zachary Quinto as Quentin Beck/Mysterio
Nathan Fillion as Flint Marko/Sandman
Alan Tudyk as Miles Warren/Jackal - I just rewatched his two episodes from season one of Dollhouse (a vastly underrated show) and he would be perfect!

This is cool and all, just seems like the same round of guys who are always fancast in cbm roles. Fillion seems kinda random too.

I like David Morrissey for Ock.

Me too. I like a lot of people for Doc Ock, actually.

He would be cool. I also like idea someone said ages ago that dude from the office with the glasses god I blanking on his name. He be interesting.

Rainn Wilson. You know, I like him quite a lot too, for classic Doc Ock:

I love Cranston, but I'd like someone more aristocratic for Norman. Just a personal preference.

Nathan Fillion as Flint Marko/Sandman

Nathan Fillion is a nice guy, but I've never understood people's fixation with him. I'd rather see someone more tuggish for the role.

Michael Emerson as Dr. Otto Octavius/Dr. Octopus - He can do timid and sinister evil genius and change on a dime. Check out Person of Interest and Lost

I had never heard this one before. It's a great idea.

Completely onboard with all of these.

Gnome some solid casting picks.

Thanks!

I don't pay attention to fancasting, I just think of actors that would work in a role. I'll admit, Nathan Fillion is one I want to see cast somewhere and thought Sandman, but possibly Scorpion. I was finishing watching Breaking Bad for the first time when the news of the Sony/Marvel deal hit, and Cranston seemed perfect. Alan Tudyk was one I was trying to find a role for and I came up with Miles and it just clicked. Someone on these boards suggested Emerson for Ock and I thought that could really work.

Oh and the one I forgot:

Frank Vincent as Silvermane

Frank Vincent as Silvermane

I think Frank Vincent just doesn't hold as much weight and gravitas as Donald Sutherland, Timothy Spall and Charles Dance (the others I've seen suggested for the role).

If we had Fillion in mcu. I kid would love to see him get a more quality villain. Then those guys. Who are more duh idiot foes.

That's actually another good choice.

I don't know, I see Norman as a tough businessman and that's what I picture with Cranston.

Again, I enjoy the actor and was looking for a role for him. He can be a charming thug?

I had never heard this one before. It's a great idea.

I admit I did not come up with that, someone else on these boards suggested it.

Completely onboard with all of these.

Thanks!

That's a nice name. I was thinking what about Daniel Dae Kim for a role. I don't know which off hand. But I always liked him from lost and five o. And would like to see him join the mcu.

I prefer Charles Dance or John Malkovich for Vulture. They give off a more bitter vibe.

I would like Bill Nighy to play a villain, he's too old for Norman so maybe he should play Vulture.
