Yeah that was my old choice as well, but after his comments on Marvel movies and the rumors of Bullseye casting it doesn't seem likely at all.

As much as I like Emma Thompson, I'm having a hard time picturing her as Aunt May.

My choice(s) would be someone more like Allison Janney or Mary McDonnell.

I could totally picture Emma Thompson as Aunt May, especially since the MCU character will probably be more along the lines of the Ultimate-verse Aunt May than the 616 take.

Emma would be the definitive Aunt May IMO. Loved Rosemary Harris. Didn't think much of Sally Field in the role.
Thompson looks like like a younger version of all the best interpretations of May. She's a good actress, she's funny. I think with her in the role, she'd add this level of humanity thst May isn't just the worry wort aunt, but she could also inject that touch of humor to engage with Peter in some banter.

At least Emma wouldn't look like such a grandmother like Rosemary Harris. Although she probably still would be mistaken for that in real life if alongside a young teenager.

When I think about Emna Thompson, I predominantly think of the eccentric characters she's played over the years, which is why it's hard for me to picture her as May.

That's an element that could work in her favour. More like the younger mad aunt than Peter can have a laugh with, than the withered old worry wort

Even in her Ultimate incarnation, "eccentric is hardly the word I would choose" to describe May's character.

With that being said, the fact that I personally cant picture Emma Thompson in the role of May doesnt mean she'd be bad in it.

I wouldn't really have called those period dramas that Emma Thompson starred in (for which she was either nominated or won best actress) as eccentric roles. They were just upper class English society roles.

I love Emma but I can't quite see her as a middle class woman from Queens.

If Emma does play May, I'd like her to slim down a little. Classic Aunt May is a very skinny, almost gaunt figure. She doesn't need to be as frail as that, but a nod to that would be nice.

Sarah Jessica Parker could play May. She has the long face like classic May and could seem like someone from Queens. She's about the right age too at 50 and would just seem like a younger version of the 616 May.

So I was wondering would any one want to see Jim parsons play some role on the mcu. I know I read somewhere he loved to do riddler for dc. But I wonder if he ever want to or do marvel work. But if he was who you like to see him play.

Neither can I. He just seems like he'd be a weird fit for any character in the MCU. Having said that, I can't imagine Sarah Jessica Parker as Aunt May either, so there you go.

As for Eddie Brock/Venom I'm torn between Charlie Hunnam or Henry Rollins
