True, but I don't really factor in height when it comes to actors much since that can easily be adjusted for the film itself. :oldrazz:

True, but it lends to his imposing frame. Whereas Giancarlo is a pretty small guy overall

How about Nancy Travis as Aunt May?

She was in Three Men and a Baby and Three Men and a Little Lady.

She's probably not a big enough name though.

Robert Englund for Vulture

I think he would have made a great Goblin but he's too old for that now.

A great Goblin, sure, but Norman Osborn? I can't see it.

He'd be cool as the Hobgoblin, though.

****, how did I not think about that?

I wanna try!!... Again...

Here are some actors I envision. Random character as they come to me:

Christopher Meloni - Norman Osborn/Green Goblin

Robert Englund - Adrian Toomes/Vulture

Richard Gere - Uncle Ben (Do Thompson and Gere look right together?)

Christopher McDonald - JJJ (If JKS "can't" come back)

Tony Todd - Robbie Robertson

Nathan Fillion - Quentin Beck/Mysterio

Patrick Warburton - Flint Marko/Sandman

Mariska Hargitay - Jean Dewolff (I know I used my L&O card already, it's just a thought.)

Matt Smith - Morbius

Lily Collins - Betty Brant

Saoirse Ronan - Gwen Stacy

Bella Thorne - Mary Jane Watson

Jessica Walter - Madame Web

Amanda Seyfried - Felicia Hardy/Blackcat

Timothée Chalamet - Harry Osborn

Just to name a few..

Let me know what you all think. Thanks!

Whoever they do cast as mj, she has to have a personality of her own. She needs to be comedic in her own right, along with keeping a metaphorical wall between herself and the world. She's grew up rough and it made her tough (Ha. Rhymes.) I can't see anybody filling those shoes. We're all throwing out pretty faces, sure, but there's more to it. I'm sorry you don't like Bella Thorne though. It was just a suggestion.

I don't see the obsession with casting Nathan Fillion for all these comic book roles. He certainly wouldn't suit Mysterio anyway. And surely they can get someone of a higher calibre for Norman Osborn than Christopher Meloni. It's almost like a TV cast otherwise.

Oh, I understand those elements of her character entirely and I think those are vital in casting her actress. Thorne, to me, just doesn't seem to have the acting chops to pull that kind of character off. In fact, she's one of the bigger examples I've seen of someone casting her due to her having a "pretty face."

Personally? I think someone like Liana Liberato would really work in the role. She's got impressive acting chops and has shown some considerable amount of range in her roles (i.e. serious, intense drama in "Trust," fun romance in "The Best of Me," etc). The fact that she's attractive and looks like a good match alongside Tom is just the cherry on the top.

Heck, watch her mess around with Vine celebrity Jerome Jarre in this video. She's hilarious and actually kinda reminds me a bit of Tom in personality too.

Would any one like to see William Fichtner in the cast. Maybe as chameleon or someone.

I could see him a several characters actually. Norman Osborn, Chameleon, Kurt Connors etc.

Ya I could see a bunch too and he is a good actor. I love to see join the mcu.

You might be on to something here. She does give off a quirky style that I think would fit with Holland.

I can't take credit for the idea of fan-casting Liana, but I do think she'd be an excellent choice for MJ. Especially since we now have Tom set in stone as our new Peter. There's something about the way that they both act that feels like they'd get along really well and work off of one another wonderfully too, though that's largely speculation on my part.

Peter Parker - Tom Holland
Aunt May - Meryl Steep
Uncle Ben - Craig T Nelson

Gwen Stacy - Chloë Grace Moretz
Mary Jane - Nicola Peltz
Harry Osborn - Cameron Monaghan
Flash - Luke Benward
Kong - Andrew Caldwel
Liz Allan - Aurora Perrineau/Madison Beer
Randy Robertson - Octavius J. Johnson
Sally Avril - Peyton List
Glory Grant - China Anne McClain

JJJ- Bob Odenkirk (my favorite are Sam Elliot and Lee R Ermey but they are 70 already)
Robbie Robertson - Ernie Hudson
Betty Brant - Sophie Cookson
Eddie Brock - Alan Ritchson
Ned Leeds - Aaron Ashmore

George Stacy - Mark Harmon
Curt Connors - Greg Kinnear
Martha Connors - Vera Farmiga
Jean DeWolff- if they could get Sandra Bullock
Silver Sable - Yuliya Snigir
Felicia - no idea

Doc Ock - Jared Harris
Kraven the Hunter - Scott Adkins
Quentin Beck - Zachary Quinto
Vulture - Mark Strong
Chameleon - Mads Mikkelsen
Norman Osborn - Christoph Waltz/Bryan Cranston/Michael C. Hall
Tombstone - Michael Shannon (is his contract with DC ended ? )
Kingpin - Vincent D'Onofrio
Hammerhead - Holt McCallany
Sandman - Pablo Schreiber
Rhino - irrelevant
Shocker - Joel McHale
Ox - Robert Maillet
Montana - no idea

Wow, Mark Harmon as Captain Stacy is actually rather brilliant casting! Good call there, man!

If we don't get Alan Ruck as an antagonistic teacher of Peter's, then I would like Stephen Tobolowsky to play one, or he could even be the school principal at the same time as Alan Ruck's science teacher.

Tobolowsky, although not in any John Hughes films, was Ned Ryerson in Groundhog Day and would be the perfect antagonistic principal who is determined to get Peter suspended.

Yeah, get Alan Ruck as the teacher and Stephen Tobolowsky as the principal (or vice-versa).

It'd be great if we also got Ben Stein to cameo and parody his scene in Ferris Bueller's Day Off too with "Parker... Parker... Parker..." :funny:

He could give a boring lecture on economics again. Or politics or law I suppose, since he is a lawyer in real life.

Jean DeWolff- if they could get Sandra Bullock

They could get her if they actually made her a major character of a movie. a team up with spidey. but not as a minor character for a whole trilogy.
