Even Andy Warhol looked better! :lmao:

That aside, if he's Magneto's son and the characterization is good, then the Avengers version will be inferior even with a better look.

I kinda like it.... mostly just because so many of you hate it, but. :o

I like your style.

But the Avengers version will have the sibling dynamic this Quicksilver is missing. So both aren't perfect.

I like it. But I'm a contrarian.

Fake Whedon said:
Seriously, we could put Aaron Taylor-Johnson (who plays Quicksilver in the upcoming Avengers 2 film) in a soiled adult diaper and it would look better than this.

:lmao:

Erm...well the good thing about this whole situation is that another studio gets the chance to not screw it up!

I don't know why people are making such a big deal about Quicksilver. A) It's the seventies. B) 1973 was the height of the glam rock era. Bowie, T-Rex, New York Dolls. Really fits in with the era.

I'm not a fan of his look, but my love for the looks of Mystique, Beast, Magneto and Blink more than weighs it up.

Not if Singer uses Wanda later on... anyway, it was stupid for Whedon to use them knowing all the limitations, Marvel should've went with Hank and Janet, even Black Panther would've been a better option, but what's done is done.

I think he looks bad but it's pretty clear he's just going to be a minor character in this, no real reason to dwell on it. Mystique and Beast, who will actually have meaningful roles in this, look hugely improved from First Class

Except you don't arbitrarily choose your supporting cast based on nonsense like that, you choose them based on the conflict they will introduce into the story you want to tell...

The only limitation for Whedon's use of the characters lies in their parentage, a ret-con done 15 years after the character's first appearance, and their mutant background. Both are likely to be adjusted in the pages of Marvel comics before the release of Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Why make post like this?Your just opening up the Disney/marvel Studios VS
Fox debate.Jesus even on big X-Men day some can't stop tolling.

You have every right to prefer their films over X-Men films but still why go there?

He was just pointing out the fact that they didn't start out at Magneto's kids. No war is getting started.

How is he trolling? He just explained the parameters within which Whedon can use the characters...

Yeah, I don't see the problem either. There was no trolling in any shape or form involved.

I'm not "tolling" - I'm responding to a poster who mentioned limitations to the MCU Wanda and Pietro that may not exist by 2015. I'll try to be more respectful on X-Men Day.

Hate to break it to you but as usual it is you starting the ridiculous VS. nonsense.

I wouldn't worry about it. That guy's entire MO is starting crap with people who don't share his glorious adoration of Fox. It's what he does.

Calm down. Take a break and step away from the monitor for a few minutes. He didn't say anything unreasonable at all or create a VS topic.

Back to Quicksilver, I like the costume, it's the hair that's killing it.

I don't like anything about the choice of design for him at all! A post was made a couple of pages back that shorter hair, black t-shirt with a lightening bolt and lose the accessories would have been a lot more effective.
