I've watched it twice now, and at the end when Peter blows up the symbiote and Eddie jumps in we now just see the explosion and not Eddie being being completely incinerated. I remember reading right after the movie came out that one of the villains was pulled aside and told not to be surprised if they're not dead after all. I think this more or less confirms Eddie Brock's gonna be ok.

The skeleton is still there, this has already been confirmed.

In the comics didn't the Sybiote create a compleatly fake Eddie for the morg and allow itself to escape with eddie?

An exposion is pretty hectic whats to say the Symbiote didn't pull itself and eddie away as the fireball was released while leaving enough of iteslf behind to fool Peter

Pumkin bombs are powerful bu to compleatly incenerate a symbiote and human body???

the Symbiote could have grabbed Eddie webbed its way up high above the contruction site and jumped/pulled iteslf and eddie out at the last 2nd.

the Skeleton was there(as we can see above) but its not that rediculous if they did want to bring venom back they could, on the other hand if they dont bring him back its pretty conclusive what happend to him.

Filmmakers of movies like this dont create conspiracies hoping the internet fan base will evenutally find it out through other analysis and obsessing, it is what it is...good ridance.

Teenage Venom fans :o
I am such and have always defended the existence of the skeleton. And besides, how can you look at that still frame and still beleive he's alive?

Because some people, like Miken Ayers, are desperate

i just saw spiderman and uncle ben didnt die, just playin (peeps wont believe until u show them a screenshot or something)

I am huge Venom fanatic and believe me,nobody wishes him more alive than I. However, even I can't deny that he is dead. Raimi murdered him and that's that. I'm not even sure a Venom spinoff would work because of his death in Spider-man 3. This all sucks because like I said,Venom is my all time favorite. The best thing I'm hoping for is that when the series is relaunched,Venom will make another appearance. Only this time somebody will actually give him(and the black suit/symbiote/Brock) the credit and screen time he deserves(unlike Raimi:cmad:).

and if venom's come back they should make him more biiger and stronger

Someone posted the audio commentary for the final battle from the dvd. Topher Grace said Eddie was dead.

Once the DVD is out here in the states the next thing we are going to be hearing about it Eddie Brock Sr. watch...

I have the DVD, the skeleton is definitely visible.

A panel was changed in the opening sequence. One of the panels of MJ was changed into a panel of the upside-down kiss from the original. That's probably one of the only changes they made :o .

whether the skeleton is or isnt there, i say its up to the filmakers to decide what they want to do wiht venom. and i know if people keep complaining eventually someone will listen and bring venom back

Don't count on it.

The moviemakers know that no matter what villains they use or kill off, the Spidey fans and the public will keep coming back to watch the movies.

All the studio is interested in is $$$$$$$ And, Spider-Man is more than capable of making that without Venom.

We'll find out when if he appears in another movie (Spidey sequel, Venom movie, whatever...), or when the U.S.has seen if this is true.

I watched the scene on DVD before and the skeleton was still definately there, he is dead, simple as.

I wish it wasnt true but it is.

It kind of reminds me of the people denying Doc Ock's death in Spider-Man 2 :whatever:
