The Dark Knight Chris Nolan/Christian Bale Comics Continuum Audio Interview

Jesus Christ, can you actually make out a single thing that girl/guy ask(s) him?

Does anyone notice Bale uses his British accent in the first few minutes of the interview and then suddenly switches to the American accent? :D

That's cos he's awesome, speaking of Bale, Reign of Fire is on in a bit

I only heard the beginning portion of the interview. Some reason, my connection stops after a certain point and I can't get the rest of it to load.

With Chris Nolan, no. Nothing is disclosed. Although he had this great bit regarding any notions of future super duper bat guano edition DVD with uber footage, etc.

QUOTE: No. I'm a big fan of theatrical film. That is what I do and what I want to do. The DVD it's a great format. And it's a great set of archival format for the piece. But, I much prefer people to see the definitive version in theaters.'

'Well, the extra features, I think, are terrific on that DVD (Batman Begins SE), and I they were put together, very much by my brother Jonah and the team of people working together with him. And we put a lot into what was a pretty fledgling form at the time in terms of the complexity of it. And the interest of it. But, here are no deleted scenes because, we couldn't afford to shoot anything that wasn't in the movie on that film. The film that's on the DVD is the same one that was in the theaters. That to me is important. The other special features. The other things around the feature on a DVD these days on a blue ray disc, I think can be very interesting. And very worthwhile. Particularly for people who are interested in the craft of filmmaking. But, I believe you have to fight constantly for the definitive version to be the theatrical version. You don't want to be bought off by promises from people that, OK, take that out of the film but we'll let you put it on DVD. I think that's losing that struggle.'

Very cool. Now if only he would have at least mentioned that on the TDK dvd there will be a feature of Heath in Joker costume skate boarding. Damn I want to see that clip.

Yeah.. but we do need the DVDs.. once they stop playing it in the theatres where are we gonna watch it?? :(

The Dark Knight could be one of those films that gets a hugh cult following and be shown every six months at the midnight showing. I know I wait around for RHPS every so often just to see it on the theater. Even though it means having to be hit in the head with toilet paper every time I go. :(

We need good movies played over and over again.. they should have this atleast once in six months.. we've got a vast number of screen these days.. im sure they could keep one.. i personally enjoying watchin movies on big screen..

I think it'd be a great idea to keep the Dark Knight in the Imax theaters! If they want to keep making money, they should have occasional screenings of it every 6 months or so. As much as I'd love to watch it over and over on my home television, nothing will beat the experience of watching it on IMax.

For Raxor, I didn't hear anything spoiled by Chris Nolan. Although, an interviewer sounded as if he mentioned something spoilerish in the Bale interview. Could barely hear it.
