I was hoping for at least an Arkham Asylum cameo. And no matter how much I watch the taser scene in Batman Begins it is obvious that the shot was to the face so that the mask would be fused to his face for a possible future appearance.

Would it? The mask looked like burlap, so if anything, it could have caught on fire, but I don't think it would "fuse" to his face literally. It would not be very pleasant to remove, that's for sure, and he probably has a few nicks in his nose from the experience. :oldrazz:

He'll probably be hideously scarred because of that taser incident. And he's inhaled so much fear toxin that he'll freak when he sees himself in a mirror.:woot:

 Looks like the racetrack is near Dublin though, pretty much the opposite coast to Baltimore
Absolutely. They're miles apart. Someone wasn't paying attention in geography class.
I live pretty near Mondello. I have a pretty busy weekend unfortunately:csad: so doubt if I'll be able to get out.

...it's a movie...

It is entertaining though when people start breaking down something in a movie to be as realistic as possible.

^ You know what would be cool?

Burlap textured scars on his face. Not all over just in patches where the two taser forks hit. He'd look like a real scarecrow kind of.

Miranda also said in another thread that the cast are staying at the Eccles Hotel, which is much nearer to Baltimore. Do you know if there's anything interesting to film around there besides scenery?

Not really. Seaside resort, lot of water activities, there's a castle also, but not much else.

Shame, Cillian was great in BB.
Maybe they'll just mention Scarecrow's capture and say he's in Arkham...

Huh?

By the way, I think one hideous scarred villain is enough.

Did you not understand my post?

And since when was Jonathan Crane scarred?

*EDIT* Apologies, I didnt read through the whole thread, only the first post and didn't know Scarecrow is actually in TDK.

Heh, there's only so much I can take. :cwink: The recent (debunked, thankfully) theory that Joker had a clown mask fused to his face is bad story-wise, but the concept isn't all too far-fetched for me. Plastic is nasty, nasty stuff when it's melted. Burlap melting? Ehhhh, not so much.

It seems that Scarecrow is in the movie, according to the Queen of all the Beasts on Land and Fishes that Swim, Her Excellency the divine Miranda Fox. Also, Joker's scarred, and that's enough. Some people think Scarecrow gets scarred after Rachel zaps him in BB, and will come back all ugly and stuff in TDK. Which would upset the girls in the audience. Who'd want to scar this?

While looking for that image, i found this.

Spock from Cork? Highly illogical. Though it is a different planet.

OMG! That is the coolest and funniest thing I've seen all day, and thanx, I needed it LOL!

LOL! Christ he would actually make a pretty good Spock; wonder if J.J Abrams has seen this pic!?

I liked the fear toxin scenes.....but for some reason I keep thinking that the Scarecrow we saw when someone was gassed by him....were not as creepy depictions as they could have been. I would hope Nolan and company turn it up a notch when it comes to eeriness and creepiness!

Can you bring the other images as well. The one where it he has the worms or maggots coming out of his mask in front of Rachel. Also the ones where the bats come out of his mouth when is gasses Batman.

I was always under the assumption that, when he was tazed in the face, it "melted" or "fused" some of the burlap onto his face, making it to where the mask doesn't come of at all. I also think that, as a result of the tazer, the mask might be a bit different, or you might see some of his face or something.

^ if you read the thread you'll realise how stupid 'melted' burlap is, even for a movie.

Ok, I have already read the thread and don't really see anything about melted burlap, and one can only assume that taking a tazer to the face like that with a burlap sack on your face will have to do something. Granted it might not melt (which is why I put it into parentheses in the first place) onto the face, but it's going to have some effect for sure. As for whether burlap can even melt, I suppose it's plausible, but i've personally never seen electrical current sent through Burlap before so who knows. I thought your tone was a bit aggressive, and for no reason too.

Holy shyte! Murphy would make an excellent Spock....in the next prequel Star Trek film! Damon as a young Kirk and Murphy as a young Spock= GREATNESS!

Someone alert JJ Abrams! LOL :hyper:

Not sure about the melted burlap thing. When you get hit with a tazer through your clothes it does not really do much damage to the clothing. It leaves a irritation and small puncture marks on the skin, which usually heal. The voltage is not enough to cause the kind of heat needed to burn.
