When the time comes for that Crocodile Dundee remake, Worthington is a lock.

It's pretty good, but I like the original better. Gets you more pumped for the movie

Tres Cool. I know you're limited by the footage available cause that music score needs longer cuts of scenes. The beginning before the title logo and the bit before the "release" line are awesome.

laughing my ass over the 3D news. making it 3D is expensive as hell. and even then you dont know if it will look good.

that has nothing to do why we hated bale in TS and you know it

Maybe not you, personally. But you don't have to examine this very hard to see that negative publicity can drastically affect an actor's appeal to his audience.

Tom Cruise was the biggest star in the world at the start of the decade. It's true that not everyone liked him, but overall he was huge. Then came the couch jumping incident and the anti-psychology/pro-scientology comments, and suddenly he's a joke. Even when he puts out a movie that is a hit like M:I3, people still criticize it for "not being as big of a hit" as his previous films due to his offscreen antics.

It's the same with Russell Crowe. He started the decade winning an Oscar for Gladiator, and followed that up by another oscar nom for A Beautiful Mind(which many people, myself included, felt he should have won. He had also been nominated for The Insider in 1999. But then he had a few outrages, one of which tarnished his public image greatly (the phone throwing incident). What followed? A string of flops, some of which were very good films like Cinderella Man that were ignored because he had fallen out of public favor.

So maybe some of you really did think Bale was terrible in Terminator Salvation, but I have a feeling that at least a few people who saw it went into the film with their minds made up that the guy is an ass-hole and weren't going to like him no matter what he did.

I'm looking forward to this movie more than any other in 2010. While I did read the G.I. Joe comics as a kid, I spent a lot more time reading Greek mythology than comic books.

I liked the second trailer much better than the first. I might actually see the flick now but I'm not excited about Worthington being in it because he has mostly bored me in two of the movies I've seen him in.

I defended the **** out of Bale when that stupid thing came about...but he was ass in that movie. Pure ass.

That new photo somehow reminds me of the top of the Well of Souls in Raiders.

I'm watching the original now, got it on dvd as a gift. :up

Hopefully it'll look better on screen.

Hopefully it'll look better on screen.

It's the lighting, mainly. That's an easy fix in post with the software they have. I remember them having a short video on that type of stuff in one of the LOTR Extended Edition special features.

Saw the trailer for this before Avatar and Sherlock Holmes today, and holy hell does it look AMAZING. I anticipate this greatly.

After seeing the new Kraken, I'm in  with this remake already.

Watched the trailer today with Sherlock Holmes, it looks great and is a must-see film for me in 2010.

The new trailer in front of Holmes looks great. The CGI very nice. Madusa looks cool as hell.

Sam Wortington is so boring to me, though. I don't see why he's being groomed as the next big action star

Funniest part of the previews was the guy next to me grinning like a fool and his leg started twitching when the Kraken showed up. Wanted to lean over and tell him to go to the bathroom.
