I'll bump this thread. And I'll do it as a man
I unleash the Kraken on VRICH for bumping this thread.
When I get the Blu Ray next week, I'll do it as a man.
When I watch the Green Lantern preview that comes with it, I'll get as excited as a man.
(did that even make any sense?)
Was thinking the other night and don't know if this has been brought up but:
Does Medusa's stare not killing the Jin imply she can only kill human males? if that were the case how could it have killed the Kraken? Or was the Jin just an exception because he technicly wasn't flesh and bone anymore? Or at all?
Are you sure theres a Green Lantern preview on it?
People with advance copies have said otherwise
Anyone else buy the blu-ray? For what its worth, the extras (deleted scenes, alternate ending) makes it look like they filmed a different movie. They gave a lot of character development for Apollo and Athena making them out to be the ones helping Perseus' instead of daddy rapist. Andromeda was even going to be Perseus real love interest.

I wished they stuck with what they had, I would've been a little less bothered by the changes I saw.
Interesting read. I honestly never saw that article before, thanks for the link. For me sadly it only makes the final cut all the more devastating compared to what could've been released.BY ZEUS! THE VERSION OF CLASH OF THE TITANS YOU DIDN'T SEE
Mind you this article was writen a couple of days after the movie came out

Medusa look should be able to stone anything or anyone but there is always some execption. I guess the Djinn was a too powerfull sorcerer to be stonned. In the movie it is said that Medusa curse included to not be able to kill women but I am not sure if it right mythologicaly speaking but it was a plot device to explain why Io couldn't help Perseus in Medusa lair.
You didn't saw JarJar in the Phantom Menace ?That owl is probably the single most idiotic thing in a movie I have ever seen
A movie can be dated and still good. Metropolis is date, Nospheratu is dated, Jason and the Argonautes is dated.it may have been awesome back then but as JAMON said...it is very dated
Perseus in the original is wooden as wooden can be, true but Ralphe Fiennes was as bad as well for an actor of his caliber. I don't really care about the music ( I don't have a "musical" hear ), it didn't strick me as bad but I have to disagree about the graphics, Calibos, Medusa, even Pegase were better in the original. The graphics are terrible, the music is terrible, and the acting is hammy.
