Is the giant fire creature Cronos at the end of the trailer?
If it is, I just say: "now, that's a real titan!"

1. From the director of Battle LA.
I imagine the film will have lot of promise but fall short in terms of relevance and staying power. Especially if the competition brings it.

I was wondering why I couldn't find the director's name.

Even the trailer got repetitive by the end.

They really don't come much more beautiful then Rosamund Pike.

It almost feels like WB is dumping this unless the marketing starts to pick it up, why release this trailer right after releasing TDKR online.

Trailer was just okay to me but nothing to indicate it won't be as bad as the last one, though Rosamund Pike does look great even if it doesn't follow the last one.

Look promising! It looks to have what I wished the first one would've had more of!

I think the first trailer for Clash came around winter, too.

I think the first teaser came out around Nov of 09 then with an actual one for holiday season. My main point was why release basically an hour after releasing TDKR, all your press and attention will be focused on the latter.

Kronos looks badass, and Ralph Fiennes doesnt look like an incredibly obvious villian this time around, also, DAT HAIR!

Creatures and Titans galore! Now that's what I wanted to see. Was not a fan of "Clash" but will still give this one a shot.

Ya, when I saw Kronos awe man my jaw almost dropped.

EDIT: Sorry, Helios.

Kronos was the one eyed giant creature chasing Perseus on foot. The firey Titan at the end was Helios.

Isn't Helius supposed to be Perseus' 10-year-old son in this?

^^He is.

And the one eyed giant chasing Perseus is a cyclops, not a titan. But the titan featured at the end looks more like Perses instead of Kronos.

In that case they are completely destroying the mythology again. Helios was the titan of the sun. And Kronos was the youngest titan and not the largest. He also had nothing to do with fire. I swear if Kronos is that fiery titan I will facepalm in the theater.

These movies rarely follow the exact mythology. The original one didn't either. Also Helios was also identified as a god of the sun/light as well as a titan I believe and Perseus' son in this movie is just named after him. I wouldn't be surprised if the titan at the end is Kronos since so far they've only mentioned one titan in the main plot and I can't imagine Perseus having to face them all before the end.

They should follow the myths a bit more.

Cool looking trailer. Hated song choice. Horrible.

I don't understand why its so hard to get Greek mythology right or stick to it. Its already loaded with drama involving badass giants hell bent on the destruction of anything in their path.

I wouldn't care if people didn't watch this stuff and run around arguing correct mythology with their movie mythology. My friends believed Perseus was ths son of Poseidon thanks to Percy Jackson and the ****** thief who stole Zeus's bolt.

Worthington looks so awkward when he asks Zeus "What am I to do?"

Agreed, they simplify the stories too much. Cant wait till we get an adaptation
that gets it right.

That's just sad. Much more than people who actually believe Kratos was the god of war. lol.

The mythology doesn't have a "filmable" storyline. Look at Perseus' myth. It's composed of several self-contained adventures that wouldn't have any sense of unity in the movie. They need to modify the story, and create something that works as a movie.
