The one-eyed is a cyclops. I don't think it's a titan. Earlier I have read somewhere that there will be a cyclops in the film.
But that fire-lava giant at the end of the trailer looks more like a titan. I think he is Cronos...but who knows? We don't know the script.

But it seems that Cerberus the guard of the Underworld's gate is in. :) But he has only 2 head instead of 3.

That isn't Cerberus. It is Orthrus his brother. Orthrus only had 2 heads, and he had a serpent tail.

Edit: Scratch that. I don't know what the hell it is, but it is neither Cerberus or Orthrus. Its got wings, two heads, and breathes fire. Anyone know what it is?

I thought that was the Chimera?

That was my first guess, but chimera's don't have wings. I'm beginning to think they have taken bits and pieces of beasts from greek mythology and combined them to make their own creations. Take for instance the spinning sword wielding things that have three sets of arms two bodies and one pair of legs. Geryon, is known as a three bodied giant. In mythology at different times he is described different. Geryon had one body and three heads, sometimes he was said to have three bodies, sometimes he has six hands and six feet and is winged, there are also some mid-sixth-century vases portraying Geryon as winged. Some accounts state that he had six legs as well while others state that the three bodies were joined to one pair of legs. Whatever that spinning thing was in the trailer had three sets of arms, two upper torsos, two heads, and one pair of legs. It seems like they took him, and made something else entirely.

Neither Cerberus nor Orthrus.
It is Chimera. You can see it on the new character banner:

Anyway, can "Makhai" be found anywhere in Greek myhology? I don't remember reading about these creatures...

Holy crap. That makes THREE films that look vastly superior to their bad first films.

Ghost Rider, G.I. Joe, and Titans?

GODDAMMIT.

I agree that the trailers, at least, for these sequels definitely seem to be redeeming their terrible predecessors. Of course, we all know that good trailer doesn't equal good film, but at least it's a good sign.

I'm definitely a lot more interested now in Wrath than I was for Clash.

Revenge of The Sequels. Too bad Superman couldn't do the same by improving with what it already had.

Totally *disagree* with this, though.
And speaking of trailers, I'm sure that when MOS' trailer first comes out, it will blow *everybody* away. Not sure that the director has anything to do with it at all, but Zack Snyder films *always* make for awesome trailers, even when the films don't live up to them.

And while we're on the subject: because I'm 110% positive that Snyder's MOS trailer will also include "OMG SUCKA$$ ROCK MUZIK" as well (like the rest of his)....enough of this geek-ass snobbery towards rock in trailers. Trailers are *supposed* to be like music videos --- quick appetizers, not main-course entrees. Rock is the *perfect* music to liven up that kind of format, not sleepy-time orchestral scores that will make you completely forget the trailer 5 minutes later.

And for the corollary argument about rock being "incongruous" and "anachronistic" to Greek mythology: it's the juxtaposition of the modern that makes a movie relevant to today's audiences. Imagine if Sergio Leone had chosen an "authentic" 1800s folk-country soundtrack for The Good, the Bad and the Ugly instead of a very 1960s Ennio Morricone score. And the 300 trailer without Nine Inch Nails? Fugittaboutit. Would've been the death of thousands of internet memes the world over.

if they learned anything from the first film this trailer and this trailer alone should be all the footage they show...and not ruin the entire movie (or the only parts worth seeing) in advertising

this one definatly looks better than crap of the titans...mainly because it has a better director more suitable for this type of film

so i showed this to my girlfriend and she said "oh cool they made a God of War movie!"

then i got sad...
then i got really angry.
then i got sad again...

we will never see a God of War movie because of this :(

That went out the window when they cast someone else.
Whatever, I won't loose sleep over it. Its just another continuity error that could've been easily avoided unless there's an actual explanation in the movie about her change of appearance.

I thought the trailer looked pretty awesome. I was wondering when they would start releasing something for this movie. Looks like a fun action flick.

As I said, chimeras do not have wings and that thing in the movie has wings. Unless this is their take on it
That's OK, but you can see that it's official. It is Chimera. The designers changed it a little bit, it's not a new method in Hollywood...

Well, at least they had the balls to actually do a Minotaur in this movie (although he looks more like Tim Curry's Darkness in Legend) instead of just using a giant guy in a bull mask like in Immortals. Unfortunately, despite the cool effects and set pieces, I have no doubt Worthington still won't have half the charisma or badassery of Henry Cavill.

And LOL, did anyone else suddenly (and unfortunately) remember the movie Stuck on You when they saw Makhai?

Has good visuals. And things look cooler than the first. The execution though remains to be seen.

Finally watched the trailer with sound and honestly, it looks superb, CGI looks amazing, which Liebesman did well in Battle: LA as well, but the first movie and B:LA both looked amazing as well and both turned out to be average at best, so while I think it looks great, I will be remaining cautious.

Set for a busy year on the big screen, Sam Worthington takes the title role in the upcoming action thriller Man on a Ledge, starring opposite Elizabeth Banks, Jamie Bell, Genesis Rodriguez, Anthony Mackie and Edward Burns. We'll soon be posting video interviews with the entire cast, but Worthington also dropped a few details about two highly anticipated sequels that also feature him as a leading man: Wrath of the Titans and Avatar 2.

"I saw [it] the other day and I love it," says Worthington of Wrath. "I think it did exactly what I wanted. There were things about the first one that I felt that I, personally, could improve myself on and work a bit harder on."

Set ten years after the events of Clash of the Titans, the film revolves around Worthington's Perseus and his relationship with both his son, Helius and his father, Zeus.

"Even though we've got big-ass monsters and it's set in a Greek mythological world and it's a f--ing huge blockbuster, it's about a father and a son," the actor explains.
