Spoiler:
Why is Zeus saying that humans are stronger than the gods? He could not mean power-wise, could he?
Maybe the gods lack strong will and hope, have nothing to fight for, are quite easy to bring down with some talking since they are no more than just a supernatural being and nothing more.
Are we only getting one trailer(or an international one)? Maybe they are letting this sink or swim based on the first one.
/\ Not exclusive to Phantom Menace. That trailer has been attached to every 3D film I've seen.
Being half-human shouldn't be better on the battlefield. I mean, gods are mighty beings, superior to demigods. But I guess it all depends on the writer. He said "You'll learn that being half-human makes you stronger than a God", but yes, he does mean that Perseus has the best of both worlds, which is an advantage to his favor in the battle.
It's not as much "I don't believe in the Gods" as it is "I f***ing hate the Gods and won't pray for them any longer".Or the gods can show their face on Earth to make people believe in them.
I find the words more stressing the human qualities that will allow us to endure after the Gods are long gone. Is he as physically or magically as strong as a God? No. But what he lacks in strength, he makes up with quality human traits. Ingenuity, compassion, a strong will.
