In a sense, the blues are sort of supposed to be sloppy. It's more about the raw emotion, rather than technique.

Great band, possibly the most underrated in rock and roll.

One thing I've always loved about rock and roll songs is how interesting the stories behind them are. I myself found it hilarious that "Lola" was based on a true story.

ELO's stuff is just real unique to me. The mix of rock and classical instruments, with a sound that seems robotic.

I agree. Jeff Lynne is a genius. "Livin' Thing" is one of the most ethereal pieces of music ever composed.

"Livin Thing" is one of my favorite ELO songs.

Would you call "Xanadu" an ELO song? Cause really, they're nothing more than backup vocals there. But you can detect jeff lynne's writing in some of the lyrics....
