they should have him!im a super big fan of batman!like since i was 4 im 23 now...and they did all of the famous villains..two-face, riddler, catwoman, penguin, bane, poison ivy, and mr.freeze...and joker of course!but doing joker again?!!!thats weird...they'd have to do it at least similar to the first batman!or it would ruin its saga!so they should put clayface!

the budget would go through the roof.

I still think characters like Clayface could be done in Nolan's world. It just has to be believeable to certain point but keep the monster with super powers intact.

i dont see it. penguin catwoman joker n twoface are the kind that would work well in nolans world. mr freeze, clay face, they dont really work too well.

clayface is kinda dark u knw?i mean dont make him too big like hulk!but at least big you know?and dont make the clay TOO bright!its kinda cool...cause we get to see batman beaten up for a while...which is sad for me.....

it´s a new "saga", you know? (and the former was ruined by incompetent filmmakers, bat-nipples and neon-style villains)

It wont be a spiderman movie. get over it.

Now Spiderman 3 will feature Sandman, which is pretty much a Clayface copy, so I wouldn't expect to see Clayface in future Batman movies. If he was used, they should focus on the disease part of him, kinda like in Arkham Asylum.

I agree with Merkel. I really like the character i just dont see it happening no matter what world Nolan is using.

Clayface would be an interesting character to do, I loved the tas version of him. But i wouldn't miss him if he was never there.

I'm actually a big fan of Clayface - the TAS version at least - however I'm not even quite sure he could be brought to the screen convincingly special effects-wise. Even if they could, it certainly be one of the biggest uses of CGI yet, and I...really don't know if I want to see that in a Batman movie yet.

Whoa.

they tried it in Birds of Prey, sufface to say it didn't work out too well even though the budget would be obviously much higher for a feature film. It's a nice thought, but probably will never see it

Clayface was in Birds of Prey? I don't remember that...

Well, maybe the Basil Carlo version of Clayface, because in Nolans world, the others wouldnt be "realistic" enough.

who knows maybe it could work. we'd have to see what Nolan would do with it first.

No, it wouldn't ruin the saga. Nicholson's performance of the Joker was great for '89, and people still respect it today because the guy is one of the best ever, but on repeated viewings, you see how campy some parts of it really are. I'm not taking anything away from it, but showing a broken, psychotic human being who lives beyond our interpretation of right, wrong, and the people who are herded by those statutes, is a pretty exciting view.

I like your idea for the Clayface, but I don't think it would happen. What would the timeline be? How would he relate to everyone else? Would you show him: before the accident that made him, the actual accident, or skip that and just show the effects of it?

well, then leave him a cliff hanger....or just see him play a role..or do what they did to joker....with the card thing...and they should also mention metropolis because superman returns did that!
