I thought it might be Lovecraft when I read in one of the blogs about how the old Gods were angry.

Also, there's this thing too:

...war came, no longer from the elemental nor from the star's rain of fire. The world was again remade, and the glow was as the coming of the sun upon the Earth. The children of the gods were again too few, scattered and divided and among them walked the ancients and those whose thoughts were not as to the towers and the marvels, but to the End and the destruction of the Earth and to the fires from which nothing could escape.

Oh my God, please let it be a Lovecraft thing :csad:

Haha. Corn Pops. :D The Lovecraft thing does sound very cool. The time is ripe for an end of days film like this, too.

I've never read it...but it does sound interesting to say the least

Dude. This...shall....****ing own if it's lovecraft...but 30 million to make a movie about Cthulhu? Seems kinda low for something that'd seem to be FX heavy.

yeah thats my only issue.....

the way they are filming it doesnt really match with the story much =\

No, don't get me wrong. I loveeee the idea of a monster film from a handheld camera point of view. It's original, nice and has potential to be ****ing scary.

It's just the question of how do you make a convicing Cthulhu if you got only 30 million to operate on.
