Everytime I watch the film, they cut away so fast after the tail hit near him. I can't spot him at all when the camera fumbles. Maybe that was on purpose.

I think half the reason I love the movie is how mysterious it is. I've watched it 3 times and think of new theories everytime.

Maybe I'm just looking at it differently. To me it doesn't look like him, I'm not saying there's another monster or something. I see the shadow of him clearly with the inverted arms, but the face looks weird to me.
