The trailer got everyone attention in our theater. They showed Simpsons, Larry and Chuck, Rush Hour 3, and then the last one was that and when it was over, there was confusion in the room. Which is good and bad. I kept thinking, "I didn't know Godzilla was being made again"

I think the whole alien thing is just speculation, and even with the source given to that statement the fact, theory, or idea of "the parasite" being an alien isn't even mentioned.

My friend actually asked me if it was Godzilla, but then I slapped him saying that any self respecting Godzilla fan would know what Godzilla sounded like.

Voltron also sound like a stupid theory b/c there'd be no way they'd have a bunch of bystanders video taping Voltron trying to kill a giant huge monger.

J.J. Abrams' Secret Project Gets a URL

If you have seen Transformers in theaters, you have probably gotten your first glimpse at the teaser trailer for J.J. Abrams' (Mission: Impossible III, "Lost," "Alias") secret project at Paramount Pictures. We talked previously about the teaser here of which a bootleg was briefly posted on YouTube on Wednesday but pulled by the studio not long after.

The code name for the movie is "Cloverfield," but Paramount is now referring to the film as "Untitled J.J. Abrams Project." However, could the title simply be 1-18-08? A new URL is now up, 1-18-08.com, featuring a screenshot and a date stamp. The domain was registered by the studio on March 30th, long before anyone knew about the movie. The teaser ends with "From Producer J.J. Abrams" followed by "In Theaters 1-18-08."

The Bad Robot production is co-produced by Bryan Burk ("Lost"), executive produced by Guy Riedel and Sherryl Clark, written by Drew Goodard and directed by Matt Reeves.

I am betting its gonna be Godzilla its all i could think about when i saw it and they do reference Japan in the teaser. If not that maybe Godzilla VS. Kong? You know its apossibility and this looks like Abrams little fantasy that he has wanted for some time and he wrote the script when he was in highschool and now he got some very good writers to help him re-write it. Just a guess though and I cant wait to see it.
