Well, America already has all kinds of monsters. King Kong, the Hulk, Clover, etc.

I don't really think the Hulk is 'America's Monster.' Sure he is a beast, but he is just a regular human exposed to gamma ray.

But I think the monster from Cloverfield really solidfied his title as 'America's Monster.' It is America's Godzilla in my eyes.

Actually, because they share the same body, they ARE the same person. The Hulk is a part of Bruce Banner. He is not a separate entity. He reflects a part of Bruce Banner that is deep within him, and because of his exposure to gamma radiation, this part of Bruce's personality comes out when he gets angry.

There's no debating that.

Maybe the info was wrong but from what I read the American Godzilla was 180' tall, and 400' from nose to tail.
Like I said though, that info could have been wrong.
