Oh wow! Totally didn't realize that was Brie Larson! Love her! She was awesome on United States of Tara and The League and of course Scott Pilgrim and 21 Jump Street. I just rewatched the episode earlier and didn't even recognize her then. Crazy

Tonight's episode was....amusing. But am I alone in saying that Dean Pelton is dangerously close to surpassing Chang as the most annoying character on the show? The costume schtick is getting old. And Troy brought up Professor Duncan. Where HAS he been? I don't think he's been on since season 2. It's very likely that this could be the last season (personally, I hope it is, anything else would be dragging it out too long), so Duncan should make at least one last appearance.

When did Andre and Shirley breakup again?

The singing got to be toooooo much. Wish the puppets were not mixed with humans. Felt weird, like the end of Wall-E while Fred Willard was in the beginning.

Yes, they'd ruined the Dean. Shoving him down our throats. Did they purposely make 'George' look like Dan Harmon?

They didn't. Shirley just said she thought she saw him with another woman, but it was just someone who looked like him.

HArd to hear, but I laughed pretty hard when they were tripping around the fire and Brita was rubbing on Annie you could barely make out Jeff saying "KISS!"

Not gonna lie, I was expecting it to be pretty bad, but it was actually OK. Troy not getting the Blue Man group made me laugh.
"Why don't they talk? They have so much in common!"

Was Chevy even in this episode? I think he had one scene at the start. This was probably one of the ones they filmed after he left.

It broke my heart to hear that Pierce and Eartha Kitt never actually had sex, but then it made me happy to hear that they dry-humped in her tour bus.

All is right with the world.

Anyway, I loved this episode. This and last weeks episodes feel the most like the older seasons. Part of me doesn't want the show to end lol.

i laughed at abed's suggestion to split into 2 groups, the survivors and the others.

Haven't seen the puppet episode yet. Just a quick comment to last week and how Brie Larson looked like a "young Pam Beesley"…

That's all.

That was a Lost reference, some of my friends just thought it was a horror movie reference

If you watch the episode you will notice that Chevy isn't in it at all. It starts with the group around the table and Chevy isn't there. The Dean even asks about him and they all shrug it off. (I assumed his absence was going to be explained in the episode so I didn't worry.) Then he shows up but in voice only as a puppet. The puppet story might try to explain without words why he wasn't there in the beginning, but when they return to humans at the end he still never shows up. Then in the behind the scenes puppet fun stuff his puppet is being voiced by someone else, and in the puppet group shot everyone is there but him. Its like he just phoned it in literally.

Normally I watch commuinity the very next day its available online, but Ive yet to watch the Puppet episode, I might watch it this weekend.

Who ever wrote this one has been watching way too much Once Upon a Time. the Dean as Pinocchio was just way too much. the puppets were OK. Plus, no matter what went on behind the scenes, I still think Chevy deserved a better exit.

So this episode was them officially writing his character out?

How lol, I musta missed the explanation. Dont really pay attention to the Pierce character

I don't think there was an explanation. I don't even know if that was his last episode.

i thought they said he would be in the last couple of episodes because they shot out of order.

IF this was the last episode for Chevy, his exit was [BLACKOUT]being left in the woods[/BLACKOUT].
[BLACKOUT]All the cast was found by the balloon expert, and she took them back while Chevy was pooping in the woods alone and was left behind.[/BLACKOUT]

Regarding Pierce...when the Dean asked about where Pierce was Troy said they hadn't seen him since he lost his mind in the woods and they also imply with the puppets that they all left while leaving him behind while he was still using the bathroom. I'm pretty sure we will see something else regarding Pierce...I'm actually surprised his character has been around this much so far I'd figure he'd be gone by now.

I do remember reading about them doing another Law & Order episode? I wonder if they could kill Pierce off ?

Pierce is in the finale. He filmed before he left. So he's in the final episode.

Wait wait wait, did Jeff just admit that he abandoned a son?!?!
