Speaking of thrones. I'm assuming he filmed his role there after conan? I know he bulked up for conan but i can't help noticing that i think he actually looks bigger in the show than what i've seen from him in the movie.

He did the pilot for GOT first. Then he did Conan, and then did the other episodes of GOT.

I noticed in the tv spot, in the long-distance shot of Conan on horseback right before he unhoods his face, the shot looks like it was very influenced by Frazetta's "Deathdealer" painting.

Looks like they modified Conan's sword from Schwarzenegger's movie and simplified it for the new film and kept the design of Conan's father's sword from the first film as well for the new one.

It's hard to believe they still really don't have any news on the Red Nails animated film. It almost makes me wonder if there isn't legal problems of some kind holding the film up. I just don't get why they have to fight to include elements of REH's Conan into the film. Sure he isn't as big of a name as Tolken but for a character like Conan to survive for going on 80 years should give him credability.

Saw the trailer for the first time. At first I was like, "Hey, that's the guy from Game of Thrones!" Then I couldn't stop laughing.

Oh well.

Yeah, the rock song in the background was lame. Still, I thought it was a cool trailer. This movie looks a lot more violent than I was expecting.

But can Rachel Nichols just quit trying to act and go do porn or something? She's gorgeous but she can't act to save her life. Has she ever been good in... anything?

Movie-marketing campaigns are no different from political campaigns; you do everything to try and get everyone in, especially if your film is rated R. I'm not too crazy about the rock soundtrack of the trailer, but I understand why they used it.

the people associated to the movie say the music in the movie will be classic opera style, no rock or modern stuff.
