Have any of you guys picked up the noval yet? I picked it up Thursday but haven't started it yet. But I'm not really sure I want to read it before I watch thje movie. It also has a small section of pictures in it. I haven't lookat them real close but I did see a few that I haven't saw before.

I wasn't too interested in this film a couple of months ago, but consider me in. I'm still worried about the script though.

We'll see how JM handles the role.

Reading the novelization now. Weird mix of original REH, references to Carter and DeCamp, Kurt Buseck, and weirdly enough the Arnold movie. There's also a built in 10 year leap in the timeline and Conan's other adventures are referenced, or at least the ones when he was young. They mentioned him stealing into the Elephant Tower and Belit. So we are to assume that this is the same Conan just before he's King of Aquilonia. They also kept REH's description of him except they left out the square cut mane part and just mentioned it being black.

That was a U.K. trailer. Hence, it's the U.K. release date. U.S.A is still the 19th.

Well, yeah, I guess there are implications that Conan had bangs of some description:

Conan kicking some Pict butt. I'm all for it. That was damn brutal but I literally winced in pain when I saw him smash the Pict's knee with the rock ... because I've broken my knee before so I know how much that hurts.
