Ok, when I think of Firelord and the Heralds of Galactus, I always remember this great story running throughout Silver Surfer:

It was the first time all the Heralds of Galactus got together to fight Morg. It also was when Frankie Raye died. I loved Silver Surfer during this time.

huh, yeah my first pick was Carnage....I am not sure what I was thinking.... I partially picked my favorites, but I also picked those I could do the most with in debating....ie Cassandra Nova, Desak, Mister Sinister, Carnage, etc....it worked out mostly but they would have been SOOO much easier if I had beings like Thanos, Drax, and Quasar.....although I think Desak is my ace in the hole....

BTW when are we going to start voting? Is it going to be on Wednesday again?

I choose ones I was a fan of ou of all of them I thought beta ray would get far I was wrong. Thankfully I got quasar so I have a chance.

Yeah, I don't expect I'll have such an excellent cast of characters next season. Now that people know the powerhouses, I doubt people will be letting me have so many. (And, hopefully Thor, Hulk and Spidey last a bit longer next time.)

Yeah, I figure I'll give everyone until Wednesday morning (pacific time, again) to debate. We'll probably keep the schedule like that for the rest of the tournament; then go back to normal beginning next season.

Well you all know my intentions for next season. It's a hard commitment as you all know, but I enjoyed it.

I would like to consider coming in Season 3 (if there is one) but I need some time off.....my brain is fried...

I don't think you have to worry about anyone but newbs. Those of us who's played this round will have powerhouses on the top of our lists. The new guys might do what some of you did though and just pick characters you like, so they may put Wolvie first,.. both otherwise, I think it's safe to say you'll get him, as long as you put him first on your list.

For some reason I could never remember which comic was my first to ever read. I remember just jumping into it one day, and it was around 1990 when I started. Seems to me it might have been this Green Goblin issue.

I know it was one of my firsts.

I remember my first, second an' 4000th comic. I can't ID 'em from memory, but I also know which comics I had first in any given run. I also know my oldest comic, which would be The Shadow from 1944.

Well, I don't see us starting Season 2 off right away. Getting ready for next season will involve discussing what worked and what didn't...recruiting new players....considering who we want and don't want...getting the brackets up and ready. That's probably going to be about a month's wait. I think after being away for a month is going to get a lot of people's interest back up. (I liken it to Sparta with his tournament thread. He needed a break by having others help out...now, he's starting to realize that he's missing being in action.) I'll be happy for the break, too; but, when it all starts again, I'll be just as jacked as when Season 1 started.
