OPENING COMMENTS: Baron Zemo vs Ant-Man (Scott Lang)
It's time to make something clear right off the bat. This is a Baron Zemo that has the two moonstones, formerly in the possession of his teammate Moonstone. Now, some may say: But, that's not how we know Zemo! Sorry lads and lassies, but this is the Zemo we've known since the Avengers/Thunderbolts mini, which came out in 2004.
This means that Baron Zemo's powers consist of:
A more careful analysis thus shows that in a fist fight, Zemo should be able to take on Ant-Man, since he is his physical superior. Of course, Ant-Man isn't going to engage Zemo in simple fisticuffs, and neither would Zemo. It all comes down to the power held by these two, and the planning that goes into the battle.
That's where Zemo has the definitive advantage. Zemo can plan for all contingencies with Ant-Man's powers, but the reverse is not true. Scott Lang is a bright fellow, but he can't just come up with something to counteract the might of the Moonstones.
Zemo can use the Moonstones simply to make it so that Ant-Man can't even ever hurt him, whereas he just needs to find Ant-Man, which he can easily do with the use of his technology. After that, it's squashing the bug. Lest we forget, Zemo is also in the posession of quite a bit of useful tech, most of it still from an era in which his main goal was to destroy the Avengers. Y'know, the Avengers that Scott Lang was a part of.
If this were Zemo without the Moonstones, it'd be a lot closer, but this is essentially a slaughter. I mean, let's be honest here, this guy took on Genis-Vell, the succesor to Captain Mar-Vell. Heck, he's used the Moonstones to tap into the foundation of the universe and look into time. It's only his inexperience with them that holds him back from becoming uber powerful.

This is nowhere near a fair battle but like always there is a slim chance of victory. Now neither of these guys would have info on eachother, but before the battle I can see Nigh****ch traveling around absorbing strength and when the battle started he would try to use his nija abilities to hide in the shadows and absorb the life force of the few students and janitors around. Now he has limited telepathy but I don't tihnk that would win on SS's alien mind. The hypnosis that SS would try to use won't effect Deathwatch because of his knowledge of the different methods as seen in Ghost Rider. Now as far as the actual battle at this point I can see him on a strngth level of around Spider-Man. He is a trained ninja so he'll do a lot of dodging and trying to use his agility as an advantage. When he starts to notice the powers SS is using it'll occur to him taht he has all the FF's powers and he can use that to an advantage. I can see SS using Mr. Fantastic's stretching ability the most and when Death sees his chance he'll try to get him into a position where if he reverts to a solidary form it'll probaly kill him. The real powers that'll cause him trouble are the shapeshifting and the invisibility. The only thing I honestly don't know is wether or not he can absorb SS's life force I'm assuming he can so every blow Dea****ch gets in there (a few well placed ones at the least) will not only injure SS but also take a junk of lifeforce.Phaedrus45 said:

Opening Debate: SUPER-SKRULL Vs DEATHHAWK
Super-Skrull has one of the most versatile skill-bases in the Marvel Universe. His primary powers include the individual powers of each of the members of the Fantastic Four. Without going into detail I list below the various powers/advantages he holds that could be called upon to win this fight:
Superhuman intellect / Durability / Elasticity / Malleability (Reed Richards)
Forcefields / Invisibility (Sue Storm)
Superhuman strength, stamina and durability / Enhanced speed (Thing)
Intense heat energy / Supersonic Flight (Johnny Storm)
Shapeshifting
Hypnosis
Deathwatch simply does not have the means to defend himself effectively against the majority of Super Skrull's attacks.
Looking at the other side, Deathwatch has three skills that can be used to attack Super-Skrull that I am aware of (correct me if I am wrong).
Ninja skills
These might prove more useful if Super-skrull himself wasn't an expert in hand to hand combat and extremely skilled and experienced in warfare. If he uses his shapeshifting to take the form of a college student Deathwatch won't even know who to sneak up on.
Limited Telepathy
Completely useless against the psychic defences that form part of Sue Storm’s powers.
Ability to absorb life from another creature and enhance his own strength
Of the three, this is the only avenue which could yield any results. Again, if Superskrull begins the fight in disguise, he won't get the opportunity to use this skill before a Human Torch style blast or a Thing level punch finish the fight.
Superskrull will win this fight at a time and using whichever powers he chooses.

RESPONSE: SUPER-SKRULL Vs DEATHWATCH
If super-skrull chooses to shapeshift or use his invisibility Deathwatch will not even have anywhere to focus his attacks.
Super-skrull can get the victory without using his strong hypnotic skills or natural physical superiority as a Skrull champion. He won't even need to tap into the supreme alien technology to which he has access during prep time.
WINNER = SUPER-SKRULL
Deathwatch can't defend against Thing level physical attacks or Torch powered fiery blasts, while Superskrull has the defence of Thing's resistant hide, Reed's malleability, Sue's forcefields and psychic defences, and Torch's supersonic flight to evade attacks. Man-Wolf vs Brother Voodoo
It's conceivable that neither of these characters have ever heard of each other, and won't be able to get information. Although, since Brother Voodoo is the champion of Haiiti, James could find some newspapers accounts of him through the Bugle or other sources of information. And Jerhico may have heard about the Man-Wolf, maybe even read. But neither would get the full picture of the other's powers.
Going into the match blind, both will start by going all out to prevent the other from getting the upper hand. This means that Brother Voodoo will likely go into a trance to use the spirit of Daniel to possess James. But James, as Man-Wolf is not the super-strong rampaging beast he used to be. Man-Wolf can wield energy and use telepathy. And by using this telepathy to seek out and try to stop his opponent, James' mind will find the entranced Jericho and stop him before he can do whatever he was planning.
Or, this may be a more physical confrontation. Voodoo using spells to conceal his physical form and protect it. But Man-Wolf can still use his telepathy to keep track of Voodoo's location. His physical strength and resistance buying him the time to attack Jericho directly or with energy blasts.
Definitely a good fight. But I think James' sheer endurance will buy him the time he needs. And his attacks, especially any mental attacks, will eventually bring Brother Voodoo down.

Yes but if Deathwatch even has the smallest idea of who he's up against and, he probaly does, he'll try to drain as many people he can before the battle who knows he might even be able to get upto Hulk's level. When he fought Ghost Rider he was at a level of strength where even hellfire couldn't burn him and let's face it even Johnny gets burned by hellfire. The only shot Deathwatch has is to drain a lot of people before the battle starts and when it starts he needs to quickly find as many people as possible. When he feels confident he'll hide in the corner patiently waiting for SS and make each one of his blows count. Each hit that makes contact won't just weaken SS it'll strengthen him. So yes the chances are slim but there's no limit to how strong he can become before hand. Also the health he absorbs gives him a boost in reflexes and stamina meaning every blow he gets will give him that much more of an advantage.Iceman/Psylocke said:

BROTHER VOODOO vs. MAN-WOLF
Since we go with the most well-known version of the characters, and since his recent Stargod transformation is, well, recent, I'm debating as the Man-Wolf that is more bestial than intelligent on Earth. If I goofed, then I ask for a delay in the vote on this match until I can put up the right debate later tonight.
Brother Voodoo is the Cajun version of Dr. Strange. He has mystic powers and abilities far beyond the comprehension of normal people. Man-Wolf is John Jameson transformed by a gem and given wolf characteristics. However, on Earth the transformation only goes halfway, leaving John more beast than man.
This is an advantage Voodoo can exploit. He could use the soul of Jericho to increase his strength so he can face the wolf physically, or use his powers to confuse and distract the wolf, giving him the chance to send the soul into him and take full control. While under his possession, the gem could be removed and John returned back to normal ending the fight. Or, Voodoo could conjure up some powerful spells and knock the crap out of the wolf until he just has no more left.
The location gives Man-Wolf a great disadvantage.

Yeah, well I ain't around fer those 4 days. I gave ample warning before it started sayin' I'm gonna be busy this semester. So yes all my debates are gonna be late 'cause when I get time to do them is when I get time to do them. I'm sorry but Contest of Marvels is NOT my life. So until the end of December and pendin' a better schedule, this is how it's gonna be.
