STATURE vs. APOCALYPSE

This is a bit of a massacre. Stature can shrink and grow like her dad, but Apocalypse is a freakin' thousands year old mutant! He's strong, he's invulnerable, he can fire energy blasts, he can grow himself and form weapons out of his body, and he can teleport limited distances. This guy gives the ENTIRE TEAM OF X-MEN trouble all by himself when he needs to get physically involved.

Stature, for all her heroic zeal, is still a first-grade rookie. She has no experience to back up her abilities, and no real training. While she may get in a few initial surprise shots in the hopes of taking the big-bad down quickly, Apocalypse would shrug them off, recover, finish her off in no time and remind her that only the strong shall survive.

*Pagan - (I wanted to vote for Mach IV, because he'd be easier to face down the road. Pagan is just too bad, and Mach IV really wouldn't be able to do a damn thing to him. And, just look: Apocalypse vs. Pagan. Now, that's a match I cannot wait to see.)

I had Pagan slated in my possible top four for the tournament.

I don't know if I would have put him to advance that high but definitely at least in the final/semifinals of a bracket.

It's a shame to see a character like that get beat by a Tony Stark Wannabe. Oh well, like I said, I wish I put at least a mention about this character because he deserves it....

The thing is, Pagan had The Vision put his fist through his heart, and it still didn't kill him. Really, to think Mach IV could even stand a chance against him is as crazy as Jesse Bedlam beating Gamora.
