Well, for those of you that read my recent post about my hospitalization know that I have Graves disease. I saw an endocrinologist roughly a week ago, and as it turns out I have a second autoimmune disease as well. It's a form of alopecia which is essentially nothing more then small little bald spots that appear and regrow periodically, most barely noticeable. The thing is, I know they're there, and thats enough to bug the **** out of me. Should I just git rid of it or should I simply ignore or does anyone have any third suggestions? Also, anyone who does shave their head, any advice, ideas of what I can expect, horror stories, etc.? Any and all help is greatly appreciated.![]()
Shaving it all off would make the bald patches a helluva lot more noticeable.
How long is your hair now?
The bald patches are no longer noticeable at all. What kind of ****ing logic did you learn?Hair with bald spots = noticeable bald spots. Zero hair with bald spots = no bald spots. How hard is that?
Sorry, I was picturing like, crew-cut, not a full blown hairless head.
Rude bastard.
Well, I did it, and I like it...alot. I imagine I'll keep it this way even after my hair begins growing in those spots again.
If you're going to keep the shaved look, you might consider a Headblade. I use the 'Sport' and it's freakin great. I also use the Head Lotion Matte.![]()
Whenever I shaved my face, so everyday or at the most every other.
Go eat the cactus after I discharge on itGo dry hump a cactus.![]()
sorry to hearabout your illness, i too have an auto immune disease, as for the hair if you do shave it be be grateful your not like me.
i have a birthmark on my head (under hair) when i go bald (hopefully in old age) i'll look like gorbachov
For the shavers on here, how often do you do it? Apparently I'm gonna have to do it at least once a day. My hair grows really friggin' fast.
