Are we sure that Wolverine has no hidden power? Like cloning himself? Or how can he show up everywhere?:whatever:
I'm sure the storylines of those X-teams coincide from time to time. There can't be just ONE Wolverine.

Xavier keeps a whole horde of them stashed in the basement like a SWAT team. :cwink:

That seems to be all he's lost so far. :\
What other titles he´s on in 616 X-Men, besides Astonishing and his own books?
Making cameos is not the same as having a permanent place in one team/book.

^^I stop following civil war a while ago, but i saw 2 issues my friend had, one Blade the other Spidey and guess who made a cameo in them!?

LOL Ok he's gone from multiple rosters to Stan Lee Cameo man 2!

I only have the X-Men civil war ones, one of the reasons for me buying them is they have the original four in it and NO Clawboy. Apparently, Xavier's stash of Wolvie SWAT is not limitless.:)

Well, technically, Chuck doesn't even have access to his stash anymore.

And Cyke no doubt figured that one Wolvie around was enough of a headache already. :woot:

Right now I can think The New Avengers and X-Men. He ain't anymore on TUXM. Or is he?

His own books are for the Wolverine fans only. No other X-Men fan has the obligation to read them, if they hate the character. People complained he was in too many teams, now he´s in only one and he isn´t the main character in it. Wolverine has had his own title for ages; there´s no reason whatsoever to complain about another one, which the haters won´t read anyway.
It´s just that people can´t stop complaining about Wolverine. It´s like it´s cool to be a Wolvie hater these days, or something like that. If Marvel one day decides to remove him forever from any association with the X-Men, I guess people would still find ways to complain about "too much Wolverine" because he was briefly mentioned in some X-Men comic...

No he's just making cameos, i ain't complaining about the cameos, just pointing out how Marvel can't seem to leave him out of anything (too often anyways). :)

What am i saying i'm a stereotyped "hater" therefore i must complain! :whatever:

:woot: :woot: :woot:

I am a Cyke fan, therefore I must hate Wolvie. In every x-verse. 24/7, too. :whatever:

Gotta love profiling. Which, come to think of it, is just too f****n funny slash ironic in this very context. :woot:

We probably will have to declare a war of Revolution to overthrow Wolverine the Great in order to give every X Man equal rights...:woot:

Where did I say that all Cyke fans hate Wolverine?
I never mentioned Cyke. Someone said that Wolverine was taking Gambit´s place in the X-books, so I answered to that. And I also said that Wolverine seems to be the main reason, for some haters, of everything that is wrong in the Marvel Universe, be it comics, movies, a favorite character out of the books, whatever.
So, I didn´t bring Cyke into it, you did it. Altough I recognize my posts were kinda off-topic, precisely because I didn´t mention Scott or Scott fans whatsoever. :o

Well, everything else around these threads seems to be too f****n :woot: :woot: :woot: to you anyways, so it´s not really a surprise... :whatever:

You'd think me quoting Gambitfire would be a hint that I was throwing in a humorous addendum to his/her(??) comment.

I wasn't so much answering to you as poking fun at a some of the profiling associated to various sub-groups of the X-3 hating family, namely:

1 - 99,99% of Cyke fans just have to hate X-3 BECAUSE AND ONLY BECAUSE Cyke died.

2 - As for other X-3 haters, they just HAVE to hate Wolvie. Bad at that.

3 - Not only that, but 99,99% of the movieverse-Wolvie-hating populace MUST also either hate his comic persona or not get it at all.

4 - Finally, it would seem that invoking a bad script, cookie-cutters action sequences devoid of tension, a laughingly bad finale and a bad rendition of the Dark Phoenix entity are just lame excuses to cover up the Wolvie bashing or Cyclops-related bitterness.

Written in bloody stone. Nah, make that the very fabric of the universe. :woot: :woot: :woot:

Well, from a dispassionate/objective point of view, considering how he's essentially the poster boy from mutant cool and has been chewing scenery for so many years, he has become by default the easiest target.

I don't exactly agree with most of the comicverse Wolvie bashing, but for the life of me I can't get why one wouldn't aknowledge that there is one hell of a bloody valid reason to complain about overall exposure.

The guy taking somewhat of a backseat for 2-3 years as opposed to how he's been shoved down our throats for the past 15-20 years doesn't exactly account for much.

Now, I'm not saying the most hardcore Wolvie haters are being objective or doing a good job with said argument. Still, it's there for the taking, regardless of personal interpretation.

You do get that 'too f****n funny' is used to paraphrase IRONIC or when mocking ill-thoughts concepts/arguments, right? Right?

And just for the record, that veiled insult qualifies as profiling. You know, the think I was mocking in the first place.

Yeah, that irony thingy.

Well... I hated X3, and the only Wolverine I like is the films one. Am I a case apart? :oldrazz:

I don't hate Wolverine. However, I think he should've had ONE movie where he was the focus - ONE. The first movie. When he was still the lead in the second movie, I knew they were blowing it immediately. They should've put someone else (Storm? Jean? Cyke?) in the forefront and let Wolverine have a subplot. And then do the same in X3. Instead they made a series of Wolverine movies.

But in truth I think Wolverine usually works best as a supporting character. He works best when he's an outlier, and you can see what makes him so much different from the other people around him. You make him a lead hero, and he's just another... well, just another leading hero. You make him a supporter and you can see how he does the dirty work no one else does, how he's more brutal and angrier and less socially acceptable than the other X-Men. The movies progressively made him more and more of a cuddlewumpuss as it is! I understood that they had to make him a LITTLE More acceptable, but by the time he's leading the team with inspirational speeches in X3, that ain't Wolverine AT ALL - that's just Hugh Jackman.

The only good thing about movie Wolverine is Hugh Jackman's look...if they cast someone look more alike the comic Wolverine, most of the non-comic fans female audience would probably lose all interest in him. (That's exactly the reaction I got when I showed my friend what Wolverine really should be.)
If I really have to pick, the one in X-Men:Evo is probably the only Wolverine I like (a little bit), considering he acted more mature in there and didn't make any movement towards any guy's girlfriend.
There are certain good things when it comes to cartoons for children.

You deserve a trophy.

Well, duh. :woot:

The funniest part is that Jackman complained about the character not getting a faithful treatment. He's absolutely right, of course, but the real kicker here is that there was one mind-numbingly simplistic solution.

Take a back-seat. Stop chewing scenery and reminding us every five seconds that's he's turning into a f****n benevolent saint with claws and an attitude. It was that bloody simple. :woot:

Every now and then, Summers... I remember while you're still in charge

Ah! I had that as my sig for a long while! What a great moment! If anyone is powerful enough to take down a sentinel on his own it's Cyke! :cyclops:

p.s

It's "why" not "while", no?

I love wolverine and I like Cyclops...

....does that make me a freak? :p

I just said yes as you said ''am i a freak'' lol.

But still yes lol.
