Sequels Dane Cook for Deadpool

When I first read this, I was like..."what??" and when I sat and really thought about it, I realized what a tremendous idea this was. Dane Cook has the rugged, hilarious, stream-of-consciousness way of speaking that I totally picture coming out of Deadpool's mouth. Whether he be a villain in a movie or given a film of his own, this would be incredible and would absolutely pay to see it. Not to mention the fact that Dane is in quite good shape and it really doesn't matter what he looks like, since he's masked anyway.

I understand that it is irrelavent since Deadpool doesn't really need to be in this movie, but he should end up somewhere! What a unique idea, as well. A comedic bad-ass killing machine. I cannot think of a single villain or hero that comes close to the character of Deadpool. He's like a combination of the Joker, Spider-man, and the Punisher. Completely insane and funny, runs at the mouth while fighting with great one-liners, but is a serious killing machine.

Wow. I'm really glad someone thought of this, haha. Good job!

Well since I made this thread....Thank You....:)

Bruce Campbell might be too old. But you could have some stuntman be in the costume and have Bruce Campbell do the voice.

Bruce is funny but he's not Deadpool funny. There's different styles...Dane Cook fits that of Deadpool's to a T. I'd love to see him have a small roll in the movie. Just someone to irritate Sabretooth maybe, who'd probably be the leader of the pack of the collection of Wolverine foes...Deadpool could be the comic relief to Sabretooth's straightman (everyone's the straightman standing next to Deadpool, really). I'd even like to hear him make some obvious reference like "Wolverine: This is your life!".

Dane would be great for DP.

WTF was I on when I typed this? I must have been tired. I find Dane Cook annoying. I saw this bumped, reread my comment and am seriously confused why the hell I typed that LMAO.

(I edited and deleted my old comment that with the above comment and some ramblings about Chris Rock or something)

Yeah Dane Cook for Deadpool and Ryan Renolds for Flash.

Dane Cook even comes with scaring on his face already!!

You think Deadpool would get a spinoff of his own if he was in this movie?

If you're talking about the Wolverine movie then yes, I do think. Wolverine will attract legions of fans to the theatre. And they are the low brow x-men fans that like violence and humour, at the same time. They are the perfect people to expose Deadpool too and they will probably love him.

As long as the actor is good and the dialogues are fresh, and not crappy one-liners like what they did with Wadey Wilson in the ultimate spiderman series.

I was thinkin more of Ryan Reynolds, he has the perfect build too.

I love Dane Cook also but agree and think Ryan Reynolds would make a better Dead Pool. He even stated he'd love to play the character in 2005. I found it in wikipedia just look up his bio, it's in career the last subject.

I love Dane Cook, the guy is hilarious. I could see him come from no where and say "Yeah I just came out from my house, and I was washing a dish and I came out"

You won't get that unless you downloaded or bought his cd's.
I agree with you. Dane Cook is great. By the way, you guys have seen Dane Cook Burger King? Is a great show! Enjoy!

Cook sucks at acting, so no.

He should just stick to stand-up, though I could imagine his voice as Deadpool's.

Wow, who brought this thread back from the dead?

But honestly, I didn't mind him in Mr. Brooks, though I doubt he'll have much chance at playing deadpool. Heck, I think Reynolds might not have much chance at playing DP. I would be surprised if Fox goes through with the spin off.

This confuses me because i seem to be the only person who doesnt like Dane cook. He's a funny man,but he isnt Deadpool funny

If you don't like him, how could you say he's funny?

Is this topic for real?

Dane Cook used to be okay, but I find him annoying in films and I hate how everyone and their mom imitates him nowadays.

Not a fan of this idea at all.
Not that it's an issues or anything.

Dane Cook? wtf ya sure if you want this movie to fail before it even gets started. This is possibly the dumbest suggestion in the history of suggestions. I HATE DANE COOK.

and I don't necessarily "hate" him, I do like some of his stand up stuff (except his latest one was stupid and a lame attempt at trying to "raw") As an actor though, yes, hate him. and possibly as a person...Ive never met him, can't make that assessment yet.

It was way back in '06, back when Dane Cook was a new presence on the mainstream comedy scene.
