The Amazing Spider-Man Dane Dehaan for Harry Osborn!

I saw the three in consideration and thought he'd be best choice!

I prefer Alden Ehrenreich, but this fellow's okay too.

DeHaan's my first choice. Yelchin's my second. Nobody after that.

Deehan fits the character, apart from being a very good actor he looks like a new version of Harry Osborn.

DeHaan is great but I saw him in so many movies already. Alden Ehrenreich for me.

Dane seems perfect for this. I hope he gets it.

Of the three I hope it's the Chronicle guy but my ideal choice is Jesse Eisenberg. We've scene that the chemistry he and Garfield share is electric.

Dane DeHaan would be great casting for Harry. He was good in Chronicle and Lawless

1. Alden
2. Dane
3. Brady

I'm so glad that these guys are getting considered!

Alden is such a ranged actor, as well as Dane. Brady is a boss! He would fit well in the role too!

Agreed.

They are such great actors and I would love for any of them to get the part.

Dane and Massee look great as a father son pairing, very believable. Lets hope both get those parts

I still like Yelchin more... but Deehan is a good actor, and Webb has a very good casting sense.

Yelchin has the look but I just don't think he is a very good fit for the role.

He is a great actor, but I don't think he can pull off Harry.

Glad we're all on the same page here with the casting and that is awesome having Massee and him side by side. It's a cinematic marriage; a pairing that feels so right and believable in terms of them being father and son. I hope in the sequel, however, we will see some of Norman's condition. Maybe he is very reclusive and hides from the press and the media and when he takes the Oz formula, he feels regenerated and young again, and is this fast-talking, chip on his shoulder kind of guy until the Goblin-transformation takes shape.

I just think with Dehaan, he can be both the popular kid but also a troubled youth crying out for his father's love. Or you go the SSM route and he's nerdy like Pete, but suddenly has this big break (thanks to the Oz formula), and he's suddenly on the football team, track team, etc. and beloved by the students, but then we start seeing the effects of what the Oz formula can do. Norman finds out he's been secretly taking his formula, and goes ballistic on his son. "I need to make more! I need more!" So, it'd kind of be like a message on drug addiction and what it does to a family.

No offense to Franco, but he was good as the pretty boy and the friend, but never really bought into his quest for recognition and power.

Yeah. Franco's Harry was definitely based on USM. He was the pretty boy who had everything going for him but craved his fathers approval.

Not the awkward, nerdy and troubled Harry from 616.

Dont think anyone playing Norman will even remotely resemble him

Though him and Andrew had great chemistry in Social Network

Well I think Franco was great in his role, especially in SM2

The rich boy persona fit in the plot like a charm
