Please make it so, Webb! Other than Anton Yelchin, he seems fit for the role. If Michael Massee isn't Norman, now is the time to get Jason Isaacs or Ralph Fiennes as him.

I enjoy Ralph Fiennes' acting, but he doesn't come off as scary or intimidating (no, not even as Voldermort). Jason Isaacs, though? Hell yes.

4) Venom ?? (the Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon)

Last week's report said that, having flirted with the idea of an athletic type, it had been decided to go for a dark, brooding interpretation of the role. But they've done a volte face to a casting brief of "athleticism and good looks," and four names have now emerged, in the shape of Sam Claflin, Eddie Redmayne, Douglas Booth and Boyd Holbrook, all of whom will be testing in the coming days.

Awwww. Dehaan was my preferred choice. These "pretty boy" choices for Harry are...saddening. I was hoping he would be a slightly darker character with a drug problem stemming from his absent father...or something along those lines. I don't feel like we'll get that with any of these new choices...

Redmayne seems like the best choice. But it's conflictng since I don't want a dark and edgy Harry but I don't want the same kind of Harry that was in the other ones... but I'm excited. Never seen Harry in a Spider-Man movie before!

Yeah. Dehaan is still my top choice, but if he's out then Redmayne is the next best thing. Maybe they'll wait until after Les Miz? Universal is going to be pushing him for Best Supporting Actor.

I don't think it would be wise to be in two huge popular franchises.

Dane Dehaan is already spotted by the paparaazi together with Andrew Garfield at Director Marc Webb's house....along with another actor....presumely for script reading and discussion.

TBH, Im not sure if THR was entirly accurate with their info.

They may have been reporting on old info, but who knows.

Considering both Booth and Dehaan were seen at Webb's house a few days ago (a fact most of the news sources fail to mention), I don't think Dehaan or the others are out of the running, but I think they are weighing their options and seeing which take on the character works better for this film.
