You know these type of discussions do excite me. We're finally getting a glimpse into a still-dangerous world where SHIELD or Hydra don't matter.

Someone at the panel Q-and-A did ask about whether or not the show would tie into AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D., and Jeph Loeb said, "Two things: one, that's a Level 7 question. And two, I think we know by now that it's all connected."

Well, Wilson Fisk has historically been a member of HYDRA, though more so he could take advantage of their resources and less because of him being a true believer or anything.

I have a feeling that Fisk will be a great villain. Not only do you have a great actor in the role, but the format of this show means that there will be plenty of time to develop him as a character. If some of the villains in the movies were given more time to develop, there wouldn't be all the outcry that Marvel short changes it's bad guys. I would personally like to see an entire episode from Fisk's POV, possibly with flashbacks to his origins.

I too hope that some of the villains will be more fleshed out on TV. I'm expecting Baron Heinrich Zemo to be the big bad of Agent Carter and to be a really cool villain, I want Purple Man to show up on Jessica Jones and Luke Cage, I feel like The Hood can debut in Luke Cage but he should also be the big bad of Defenders and Steel Serpent will be a really awesome villain on Iron Fist with the REAL Mandarin also showing up on Iron Fist as well. I'm also hoping for some better villains in the Phase 3 films.

A few months, generally. Not that different from regular series. House of Cards came out on Netflix at the beginning of February and was released on Blu-ray in June.

Of course, there are exceptions. I'm still waiting on Arrested Development Season 4, dammit, but I think the delay in that probably has a lot to do with the Fox crossover.

His American accent sounded fine to me. It was kinda that vaguely Mid-Western non-regional American accent that British actors doing American accents do, but it sounded suitably convincing.

Aww, I was hoping that since he could do a Belfast accent in Broadwalk Empire, he would be able to pull off a New York accent.

Is this about superpowered people being forced to reveal their identities?

If so Daredevil might be the only one who's identity the public doesn't know (if he is considered superpowered rather than a vigilante).

All Shield are known.
Cap, Thor, Iron Man, Hulk are known. Steven Strange is known by Shield.

So that will leave Ant Man, Quick Silver, Scarlet Witch, DD. Maybe Jess Jones, Iron Fist and Luke Cage.

That's not really a civil war. I've seen bigger pub fights.

Just because Marvel is probably adapting civil war doesn't mean it has to be about secret identities like it is in the comics. They'll change it around in a way where everything fits.

Like Sitwell said in Winter Soldier, there is a lot of potential menace for Hydra who were targeted like Dr Strange.

And there must be others gifted like Quicksilver and Scarlett Witch.

I can't wait for this show. Daredevil is in my top 5 favorite superheroes. I love the casting on this and everything we heard from NYCC. I can't help but think as a geek how we're living in a golden age for this stuff. The care and planning Marvel have put into the MCU is amazing.

While Matt should have a New York accent, I never picture him with one. It would certainly be weird. His Dad I can see having an accent, but not Matt. Maybe his Dad told him to lose the accent to help him get somewhere in life.

As I said Shields records are released. So all of the gifted that Shield had records on are now known (Blizzard, Absorbing man, Scorch included) As are the operatives like Black Widow, Hawkeye and Mokingbird.. Jess Jones and Luke Cage don't sound like they have alias's (hence using their names). Doc Strange was known to Shield as Sitwell mentioned his name.
QS and SW we will have to see.

Out of everyone in the Cinematic Marvel Universe. The only one that we know has a secret identity is Daredevil.
