Preciate it Keyser. I've read man without fear, I remember not liking it all that much, but I'll give it another shot. I just have never been huge on Frank Miller.
I'll definitely look into the other ones as well.

Dude, if you would like anything Frank Miller, you would at least like his Daredevil run. Legendary stuff.

I've been reading man without fear for ther first time in years. Man, is it some great Miller work. It's a great retelling, with a more complex characterization than in his first run.

As I said Shields records are released. So all of the gifted that Shield had records on are now known (Blizzard, Absorbing man, Scorch included) As are the operatives like Black Widow, Hawkeye and Mokingbird.. Jess Jones and Luke Cage don't sound like they have alias's (hence using their names). Doc Strange was known to Shield as Sitwell mentioned his name.
QS and SW we will have to see.

Out of everyone in the Cinematic Marvel Universe. The only one that we know has a secret identity is Daredevil.

which is funny considering the whole secret identity stuff is out in the comics now.

My favourite story from Miller is definitely Born Again. Utterly brilliant.

Born Again is really powerful indeed. it punches you in the gut repeatedly.

^ Although I'll say it works best after you've seen a lot with his character, particularly in better days.

I'd argue his actual run is better than his MWOF story (although that story is quite good). It's Frank Miller, but I think it surprises people given his reputation. It's not as dark as people normally think, but it's just good, tight, solid stories.

Shield found a lot of gifted before being destroyed, there is still a lot of gifted that we don't know in the world and that shield hasn't discovered like Skye/Raina. And Shield had false information like Absorbing man being dead.

And the people working for the new Shield righ now are vigilantes and The U.S gouvernment don't everybody who is in it.

There will be 4 vigilantes in one city, New York, there must be plenty more in the world.

Born again is definitely not a stand-alone story. It can be self sufficient, but it's not how it's meant to be read.

To me, his first run is actually quite dark. But it's also a natural progression from Mckenzie's run imo. You can definitely see how the bullseye/widow fight can be an inspiration for the bullseye/elektra fight.

I've only read bits and pieces of it, but from what I've gathered, despite the grim-n-gritty reputation, for the most part the run is largely in-line with the tone of comics of the era, not overly dark or hard-edged, which is why the Elektra death issue hit like a punch in the gut, was a shocking turn into dark territory, and its fall-out took things further into dark territory. But that came near the end of his run.

For me, though, Born Again is Miller's masterpiece from his work on Daredevil. It may be his masterpiece, full stop. Batman: Year One is the only other of his comics I'd maybe put above it.

That might be fair. I'll probably need to re-read it. It may have been the first Daredevil comic I read, so it might be better with some perspective.

So, has anyone heard anything about who plays Jack Murdock?

I actually just saw that picture on your twitter. I can't wait to see the scene play out.

And any news regarding casting is exciting. good to know

I was at the NYCC panel on Saturday and some of my thoughts/reaction (some pictures I took of the panel are on my Tumblr. Sorry didn't get a lot....Marvel/Disney were really strict of people taking pics during the panel.

-Absolutely dark (literally lol), brutal (hand-to-hand combat with some bones crunching) and gritty feel to it. It is definitely the opposite of Agents of Shield

-There were some quick cuts during the fight scene, but it works

-I was taken aback by the black ninja outfit (not too familiar with Miller/Romita, Jr. era but the Bendis/Maleev) but I can understand why they’re doing it

-Love the fact it seems to be more grounded/realistic than the movie. I like the movie, but whenever Daredevil leaped and did acrobatic stuff it sorta took me out of it.

For now we can assume that's not the final outfit. If he has that the whole season, I will be a little disappointed.

I really hope they give us something soon. Its not my fault I don't live in New York :(

I can't see the outfit staying for more than one or two episodes. I hope he'll get the brown and yellow one then ^^

my guess is that the suit will not be changed until the last 2 episodes.

So, has anyone heard anything about who plays Jack Murdock?

I haven't heard anything, but I find it hard to believe he hasn't been cast yet.

Are all the characters who have been revealed part of the main cast? Maybe they haven't bothered for guest stars like Battlin' Jack.

Didn't they say that at CC one of the scenes shown was Murdock as a boy asleep his dad tells him to get up. He wakes up in the alley and then goes back into the fight? Also a scene where he touches his dads face and it's all cut and bruised? Jack has been cast (I think).

Really want to see the footage.

Is there an exact date in 2015 that is scheduled for the premiere?

What special effects company is involved with the show?

Yea one of the clips definitely was described as including Jack Murdock. I'd like to know who's playing him too.

Aren't they releasing every episode at once?

So basically you can watch the season finale before even watching the first episode
