The character exists in the same universe as The Avengers, etc. Subtle mentions or allusions to the fact or an Easter egg here or there did NOT detract from my watching the series. I am so excited that this series turned out so well and cannot wait for Season 2. I don't care if see The Falcon flying overhead in a scene just as long as they keep up the good work. The 3 days I spent after work binge-watching this series were happy times for me.

I'd love to see Elodie on set. Whether it's in her Elektra garb or just Elektra civilian clothes. Curious to see her look/hair/etc.

I hate set pics, and I also hate trailers (will only ever watch the first trailer and thats it) I like going into the movie, or in this case, the show, not knowing what to expect in terms of plot points and characters.

Don't sparks ALWAYS fly between those two? It's what makes their dynamic so interesting. You throw Spider-Man into the mix and it gets even better. I'm curious to see how Elektra fits into all of this as well.

Both of these pictures were used to announce new cast members. The Gladiator pic had nothing accompanying it. This pic was released after the Gladiator pic, and I'm pretty sure it hints at nothing S2 related:

The lighting of season one was a huge part of the show, so I'm actually kinda surprised Lloyd isn't coming back to do it. In any case, House of Cards has phenomenal cinematography, so I'm sure it's in good hands.

Speaking of which I'm kind of hoping that they'll end up surprising us w/a "Matt Murdock" cameo on that show. It can be a brief one, just to establish that he's Jessica (or Luke Cage's) lawyer, or even just that they know each other, or something.

I'm all for it. If Jessica Jones is as great as Daredevil (and I'm confident it will be), the netfliverse will be incredible. Apart from the cap movies, Daredevil has been my favorite stuff from the marvel studios so far.

So, is anyone else here excited that we're getting an adaptation of Frank Miller's run on the character that isn't going to suck like the 2002 movie did?

I'd also hope that Frank Miller's work gets split into two seasons. IMO, I'd save Elektra's resurrection and Born Again for Season 3 and merge those stories with the Nocenti run.

Season 2 also needs Kirigi as a villain hunting Elektra who should have his same death as in the comics. Namely being run over, set on fire and decapitated before he finally goes down.

I'd also kill off Elektra in Season 2's penultimate episode and then have the final episode be Daredevil 191 with Matt Murdoch and Bullseye playing Russian Roulette in the hospital.

Then I'd resurrect Elektra in Season 3 with her return owing more to Elektra Lives Again than Fall from Grace and use some of Nocenti's villains like Bullet, Bushwhacker and Typhoid before culminating with Born Again as the final three episodes.

First of all, "Netfliverse." Great word. I love it.

Second, I'm not as excited about season 2 as I was about season 1. I love Daredevil, but I am not a big Elektra fan. I thought the 2003 Daredevil movie--even the theatrical cut--was tolerable in the scenes without her. I've read runs on the comics where her sudden inclusion brought things to a standstill. I just don't like her as a character and I don't like the ways she is sometimes fit into Daredevil stories just because--I don't know, fans expect her to show up?

I understand she is part of the Daredevil mythos and it would almost be criminal to ignore her, but I don't want the series to become the "Daredevil and Elektra Super Hour" or some such.
