The coerced juror was to ensure the acquittal (or, more accurately, ensure no conviction because it was a hung jury). They were coerced into voting not guilty. I'm not sure what your confusion is there.

Redundancy in case Avocados at Law screw the case. Hung jury forces a mistrial. Unable to convict, the guy gets off (or gets retried)

why not? that's his motive... as shown with other people through-out the series... he get them to work for him/fisk and black-mails them eventually if they resist.. that's what he does.

I hope we see some other new villains, mainly because Punisher and Elektra are more anti heroes then villains and we would need some more villainous characters to move the plot along. I mean Kingpin would still be involved, I assume, but still it might be interesting to see some other villainous characters show up, plus they may move more room for more villains now that Kingpin's entire inner circle is gone.

Nothing, it's great. There is just much more to Daredevil than Frank Miller's run.

With Elektra it only makes sense for Bullseye to show up too. Plus there was that stuff they set up with Stick and The Hand they can toy with.

I think season 1 did a great job at being its own thing though. And I'm sure season 2 will manage to take inspiration from great runs while still being its own thing too.

I hope DD will be more of a swashbuckling hero this time around, which he could totally be, if episode 13 is any indication.

And they've borrowed from plenty of other elements. Doesn't mean Miller isn't an influential aspect that would be good to borrow from - particularly considering this season will feature Elektra (who hasn't been used effectively since Miller), Punisher (who was great in Miller's stories), and possibly Bullseye.

I actually prefer the bendis run and ed Brubaker 1st arc on dd. Those are imo the best dd stories. I

I love Brubaker's run. I like Bendis's run, but it's a little anti-comic book and slow as friggin' molasses.
