Is it in anyway possible a DD trailer premieres at the Superbowl?

The villains who IMO need to biggest redesigns are Bulllseye and Jester since I'm not sure if comic accurate costumes for them would actually work in a live-action medium.

I promised I'd give this some more attention on why I disagree about Bullseye, so here goes:

I fail to understand why superhero costumes are perfectly acceptable but supervillain costumes are not. I'm not saying they have to be crazy over the top and the show clearly had a reluctance for Daredevil too, but we're talking about Daredevil season three at the earliest. At that point, I hope they can be more accepting. There are a few things in favor of Bullseye being in costume:

First is the idea from the Dark Knight trilogy of the superhero causing escalation. Heroes wearing costumes can inspire villains to do the same for villains. This is especially true of someone like Bullseye, who has a bit of crazy on him. He channels that crazy into being a ruthless killer, but he's a showboat who loves attention.

Second is exactly that. He acts with style. He's got a swagger that I think works very well. Here is an example of an image that shows this well. With the right actor, the costume would fit right in.

Third, this is a character used heavily by Frank Miller - a Daredevil writer who avoided anything he thought was cheesy like the plague. Sure, that was by comic book standards, but we're talking about someone who would only do anything over the top if it involved ninjas. Otherwise, he wanted it very grounded.

Don't get me wrong, I'd change it a bit. I'd make it black, not blue. I'd ditch the white belt and would be willing to ditch the white shoes. The one thing I would not touch is the white gloves. I think he comes off as visually distinctive wearing pristine white gloves covering the most dangerous hands in the world. I would actually have the first couple times he appears, keep him in the shadows and only show his gloved hands. Also, show the aftermath, like the scene in Guardian Devil with just a massacre of being having been killed by objects like forks and knives. Then you can show him in shadow with only the bullseye visible on his head. Finally, you can show him in full, but there's nothing wrong with it being at night since that's when Daredevil is active anyway.

Like I said, minimal changes will work wonders with the right approach and right actor. No matter what, I don't want anything resembling the Daredevil movie costume, though.

Depends on how Netlix weighs the cost effectiveness? Super Bowl ads are insanely pricey Netflix might choose other venues to advertise the show.

I don't see anything particularly unworkable at Bullseye's outfit. Just swap out the spandex, use something like a customized ski mask for the face.

I agree completely. Bullseye needs his costume, and I think it would be great if he puts on a costume to mimic his arch enemy.

I agree 100 percent. I think it's perfectly valid that because there are vigilante crime fighters running around with masks and costumes, than bad guys will follow suit.

Sort of like Batman creates the Joker, vice versa, etc.

According to Stephen Rider's Instagram, actress Michelle Hurd (Law and Order) will be in season two.

Here's a pic with her, Stephen, Charlie Cox, and Geoffrey Cantor (the guy who played Ben's boss, Ellison, in season one) at the wrap party:

Also, I wonder if this means Ellison will be returning.

I think I brought that up earlier this year. She has a stunt double credited for episode 10 of the second season.

Edit: Yes, I mentioned it back in November.

I know IMDb is an iffy source but I think when they put up the stunt performers for actors, it seems it'd be more true than seeing someone randomly added to the cast list.

We have a stunt double for these actors in various episodes:
Elodie Yung's stunt double is in 8 9 episodes.
Robert 'Toshi' Kar Yuen Chan
Marilyn Torres
Michelle Hurd (who was also in Jessica Jones)
John Pirkis

She was in Jessica too? That's cool.

She was in the last episode I believe. [BLACKOUT]When Jessica was finally getting Hope out of jail/the mental ward.[/BLACKOUT]

Also, Ellison has been added to a bunch of IMDB episodes credits.

I like this quote:

YUNG: We think Elektra is a sociopath. This world is a game for her. It’s like a chess game, and what motivates her is what she wants. She’ll use anything she needs to use to get to her goal, and if she needs to kill people, she will. She has this coldness in her, and I tried to keep that. But on the other hand, we wanted to create a character with different layers. I think Elektra isn’t a bad person, but she’s not a good person. She’s a person with different traits, with layers, and she’s seeking who she is. In this season, there’s an arc to her story. Hopefully, she’ll find we’ll find out who she is, by the end of it.

I think that's a fair take on the character. I'm always worried they would take too much from the Man Without Fear version, who is a little too mentally ill. Elektra is someone who has had tragedy in her life and no longer really believed in anything greater than herself. She's a pure mercenary. She doesn't seek to do evil, but she doesn't seek to do good either. It's not until she meets Matt again that she doubts that and considers being more (at least in the comics).

Perfect way to describe her.

While I'll admit I like that they might be sprinkling some MWF characterization into her role for the second season, I'm happy with everything I'm reading about her in these interviews. Elodie seems to have a really great understanding of the character.

Also, I expect a trailer to be released in the next 2 weeks.

I know I just complained about the concept looking beter in the other thread. But the suit really looks fantastic in motion from what I've seen so far. And he's barely done anything. :D

I can't see anything at the link. Just a bunch of Twitter conversation.

Hah, I'm in the same boat.
