Two things from the movie that they maybe did better than the show in the first season at least.

I'd say the acrobatic feats of DD and the nun-chuk staff thing.

I didn't mind their take on his radar vision either.

How many episodes do you think are filmed by now? I did some research and saw that generally on a TV series, it takes a week to film an episode.

Well they seem to film the Netflix shows over the course of about 6 months, which is 24 weeks or so. Network TV is tighter if it's 22 episodes, whereas these are 13 episodes. So probably closer to 2 weeks per Ep. I'm just guessing, but I'd say they'e around halfway through -ish. (Finishing in December like last time.)

this show is arguably the best thing in the MCU  truly amazing. Perfect casting for Kingpin and Matt

He's used that "inevitable" line before, but it's good to see him elaborate.

Feige singling out Daredevil leads me to believe that good ol' double-D will be hitting the big screen sooner rather than later. It's a pity the timeline/schedule couldn't be worked out in time since I thought Civil War would've been the perfect place to include Daredevil... and maybe even a few other Netflix/Marvel characters.

Agreed. I'm so excited to return to the show and watch it through again.

I have always said that the current structure is just fine how it is. The movies feature the heavy-hitters fighting aliens, god-like beings, with world-changing consequences stemming from the end of each installment. The TV shows serve as a glimpse into the smaller-scale side of things; how did the Avengers invasion effect New York City? Watch Daredevil on Netflix to find out. How did the dismantling of S.H.I.E.L.D. in the Winter Soldier work out for all of the agents working in the organization? Tune in to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. on ABC to learn more. It's a sensible way to go about doing things, but as Fiege says, it goes without saying that there will be some TV characters on the silver screen in the future. Maybe a Defenders cameo in Infinity War?

Oh yeah i completely agree, why others dont get this concept is beyond me lol.

daredevil really is the best thing marvel has ever done imho. i met some people that thought the show was just "ok". i literally almost punched them in the kidney when they said that.

i mean we have 13 episodes....which is not easy to do...tell a great story with great character development, acting, writing and direction.

it's also my favourite marvel adaptation. IT has to be said though, that Daredevil is my favourite Marvel hero.

Congratulations to you, then ... Your favorite got first class treatment! :yay:

I'm going to start rewatching this show soon. I'm looking forward to it!

I bought DD's athleticism and gymnastic ability infinitely more in the show. In the movie DD was so big and stiff and had to transform into a cartoon to do anything acrobatic.

7 or 8. A couple of weeks ago I saw some guy who was an extra on the set for episode 7 give some info on the scene he was in.

So did I. I enjoy The DD theatrical film, especially the Director's cut, but the obvious wire-fu and CGI can sometimes be distracting. I was actually more impressed by the real world acrobatics of the show. I realize at some point, some wire work is probably going to be required in the show, I just hope they make it look as realistic as possible.

You know what they need to do? Release the first 2 episodes of Daredevil as a movie in theaters.

I'm probably thinking of the respective building leaping moments. The DD series one came off a bit like the budget limitations might have been showing.

The 2003 DD was working with the CGI they had back then but the idea depicted was sound as to how he'd move building to building.

i hope they cancel The Player and cast Philip Winchester as Moon Knight for down the road haha

Do we know if Elodie Yung and Jon Bernthal are regulars for the season?

I actually got an email notification yesterday indicating that the order had been delayed - so I'm thinking that there was definitely a backorder/stock issue with the book that affected a lot of stores. Email I got indicated it should hopefully be shipping within the next 1-5 business days. Via my B&N membership I got free shipping as it was so I'm not worried about having been charged for a shipping speed that i'm not getting (due to the backorder/delay) - and B&N has been pretty good to me in the past so I have no problem giving them some leeway
Small update on this... B&N ended up automatically cancelling my order citing "Your order contained an item that is no longer scheduled for release. This may be because the item was discontinued or replaced by a newer version."

I sent a message to AgentM/Ryan Penagos (Marvel employee for those who don't know who he is) on twitter wondering if he's heard anything about it or can find out if it's still going to be released and he said he'll ask around. I will let you know if/what I hear back from him.

Edit: Just got this message back from him:

@Siryn_X Alas, I don't believe the book is happening, sorry

Any of you hope to see anything specific come out of NYCC this Saturday?

A trailer for season 2, with our first "official" look at the Punisher and hopefully a look at the improved suit or a new suit.
