Can’t freaking wait for this as I absolutely loved both seasons of DD. My favorite Marvel Netflix show tied with Punisher.

DDS1 was the best season 1 show and DDS2 is the best SS2 show to date. Daredevil is really setting the standard and I wish all the show could emulate that standard.

Watching them again, it is interesting. Matt vs. Fisk isn't really a thing. If anything, Matt and Fisk spend the vast majority of season 1 avoiding each other, only coming together for very specific moments. Which are great, outside of arguably their final confrontation. As that is just so... goofy.

For me, my favorite Matt vs. Fisk moment comes in season 2. That conversation in prison It is the most intense, most legitimately dangerous moment imo. We left off on episode 10 last night, so we are doing the last 3 tonight. I do feel like the Hand parts can be a bit lightweight in comparison, but I adore Elektra and her relationship with Matt. For me, the biggest advantage season 1 has over 2 is Fisk and Wesley. They are so fantastic. But I'd still take Frank and Elektra over them, along with season 2 just having more really good episodes. I'd also take the weakest episodes of season 2 over season's 1, though that is a lot closer.

I do think that season 1 starts out slower is an advantage for it. Season 2 starts out with arguably the best thing the Netflix shows have done, that it slows down was probably always going to be an issue. Though I rather love a lot of the material.

I forgot how good Wesley was. He is a hard one to replace.

I would've preferred that Fisk wasn't just in a white suit with a black shirt. They should've given him a cravat, and also either purple pin-striped trousers or black or grey pin-striped trousers. That would've completed the look far more.

At the moment, a white suit with a black shirt worn open looks a bit Miami Vice.

Damn, I just gotta say that Cox has the ideal Daredevil physique. I really like that we actually get to see him train. I always appreciate it when we see human characters like Daredevil and Batman train.

Daredevil is one of those characters that has huge potential as a long running TV series. There's so much amazing work from the comics that they still haven't touched. More from Miller, Nocenti, Bendis and Brubaker. But I have to say that it annoys me a little that Arrow now has done the whole "secret identity outed and the hero sent to prison", because that was so great in the Bendis and Brubaker runs. Even Luke Cage did the

"taking the crime boss's place" which was so interesting when Daredevil did it in the Bendis run.

This show is not only the best live action comic book based show made so far, but the best thing to come out of the mcu. The amount of quality they squeezed from this in every aspect with so little resources is outsanding. I cannot wait for season 3 and i doubt the quality will drop.
