Well it's been mentioned on the main site that a Daredevil reboot is possible, I think it could be pretty sweet, I've always though DD was a really cool character.

Don't know if this has been posted but...

"In July 2008, Jason Statham had expressed interest in appearing as Daredevil in the future. Statham requested "just give me the chance, I would love to be Daredevil." Frank Miller agreeably pined in, adding "I think he should be Daredevil too." In October 2008, 20th Century Fox executive Tom Rothman said that "a Daredevil reboot is something we are thinking very seriously about." Rothman added that "what it really needs is, it needs a visionary at the level that [The Dark Knight director] Chris Nolan was. It needs someone, it needs a director, honestly, who has a genuine vision"

I think Statham could be a pretty sweet Daredevil! *bump*

I actually liked the first movie I just think that sometimes Daredevil was out of character...

If fox was smart...they would turn this franchise into a television Drama. The whole justice system vs. Street justice in a gritty crime drama would be awesome!

^Agreed. I'd definitely be more psyched about a TV series than another movie at this point.

but whatever look they choose for a DD vision fx would look bad with a tv budget..

I dunno, it's been 6 years since the movie, and sfx get better and cheaper every year

I think they should reboot it but I don't think they should change Daredevil's costume, I think it was the best comic book movie costume IMO.
Also, I like the idea of a Daredevil TV show.

20th Century Fox recently revealed that they are planning to reboot the "Daredevil" franchise and according to MTV News, none of the actors from the original film will be back.

Ben Affleck already stated that he will never play a superhero again and his wife Jennifer Garner now revealed that she had no idea that Fox was even planning to make another "Daredevil" film. In the original, Affleck played the title character, while Garner played Elektra. Fox co-chairman Tom Rothman previously said that the goal with the "Daredevil" reboot is to get real talent behind it. "What it really needs is a visionary at the level of Chris Nolan," said Rothman. "It needs a director who has a genuine vision. We wouldn't do it just for the sake of doing it."

Fox is not the best at picking directors. After they signed Mark Steven Johnson to helm the original "Daredevil," which was ripped up by the critics, they decided to hand him the "Ghost Rider" franchise.

I have to say "ouch" to the last part. MSS actually did a good job with this. Fox only have themselves to blame.

yeah he ****ed up daredevil so lets give him another comic book movie LOL

not many top notch directors work with fox tho LOL

Maybe Danny Boyle not sure if he up to comic book films final act of sunshine was like it was from a comic book tho lol

Oh yea, Tom Rothman's Daredevil: First Devil Blood.

Marvel should stop cross-promoting movie with Fox to voice disapproval the way Fox mishandle their characters.

And MSJ is a bad director/writer. He should stick being a writer or director but not both. Don't cut cost for both positions.

that article is all kinds of f'd up...

1) fox ALWAYS makes movies just for the sake of making movies
2) Fox does not have Ghostrider... SONY does.

Basically it is a little more of an origin story than the first Daredevil movie. Instead of flashbacks to him being a kid, it only flashes back to him putting on the mask for the first time. The film is about Matt Murdock and Foggy Nelson trying to crack down on Kingpin's crime syndicate in the courtroom and Daredevil taking matters into his own hands at night. Karen Page plays the love interest. At the end of the film, Kingpin still walks free but with a severe blow to his empire, Karen Page moves to Hollywood to pursue an acting career, and Matt keeps his career as Daredevil going.

Daredevil II
Daredevil_Born_Again.jpg
Matt Murdock legal career is going great and is on the way to being made partner at his firm. Crime has dropped down due to fear of Daredevil and Kingpin's lack of power. All changes when Matt's old girlfriend Karen Page comes back into Matt's life. Karen failed in becoming an actress, she was forced into becoming a porno actress to pay bills and to sustain her addiction to heroin. In desperation, Karen tells Kingpin that Matt Murdock is Daredevil. Kingpin then makes Matt's life a living hell. Matt's house is foreclosed and destroyed, his assets frozen, and his license to practice law revoked. Matt begins to become increasingly violent and delusional believing that even his friend Foggy is conspiring against him. Weakened he attempts to attack Kingpin but is captured, beaten, thrown in a river and left for dead. Down but not out Matt recovers with the help of his mother and sets out to take care of Kingpin and Kingpin's new hired help: Nuke

Daredevil III

Ddsmith.png
Matt still recovering from the events of the previous film is still a shell of his former self. His friendship with Foggy has become withered, he is emotionally detached from Karen (newly HIV positive) who he was supposed to have reconciled with. His career as Daredevil has become insignificant with Daredevil turning into a myth. He turns to his Catholic faith in this time of grief. Kingpin released from a short stint in jail comes back and still has his sights set on Matt's life. Strangely a dying young mother drops a baby in Matt's lap and tells him to watch over the baby. This sets off the whole film. Kingpin desperately and mysteriously wants to get his hands on the baby so he hires crazed hitman "Bullseye" and fatal assassin "Elektra", who have alot of tension between them. Matt protects the baby for unknown reasons, just feeling that he had responsibility. When under attack by the two killers, Matt recognizes Elektra as his college girlfriend. Elektra is unable to kill Matt because of this unbeknownst to Kingpin or Bullseye. Matt's protection of the mysterious baby becomes more dangerous, when Bullseye attacks Matt's church hurting his mother, kidnapping the baby, and killing Karen Page. Now, all bets are off. Matt must stop Kingpin, rescue the baby, and protect the ones he loves.

Daredevil IV
lifeinfourcolors_080606_clip_image0.jpg
Kingpin still walks the streets with two of the worlds deadliest assassins in his employ. Matt is still grieving over the loss of Karen Page. Matt doesn't know how much longer he can live, let alone keep the Daredevil career going. Daredevil is still cracking down on street crime, but still has not reached the level that he was at during the first movie. Bullseye discovers that Elektra is in love with Matt and tries to use this against blackmail to no avail. Instead he triggers a fight between himself and Elektra. A battle where only one can be victorious. Elektra unfortunately loses the fight and is stabbed by Bullseye. Feeling that he has little to lose, Matt puts all his strength, knowledge, and effort into one final assault on the Kingpin organization expecting this to be the last of Daredevil and Kingpin.

I tried to keep it in 3 movies but it couldnt be done lol. My idea is have the movies filmed in pairs but not released one year after another. And I still have in mind for this to be PG13 but still a very intense PG13 like TDK or Taken

I'm liking that cast.

All apart from Ray as the Kingpin that is.

Dont get me wrong, obviously being a fellow countryman, there are few who are more aware of Winstone's awesomeness than I am; but I'd prefer someone larger and, to be frank, Ray sucks at American accents.

Ill repost my old one I guess

ddks3.jpg

Daredevil- Michael C Hall
Foggy Nelson- Vincent D'Onofrio
Kingpin- Ray Winstone
Electra- Stana Katic
Typhoid Mary- Daneel Harris
Ben Urich- Jay Karnes
Purple Man- Til Shweiger
Bullseye- Ben Foster
Gladiator- Vin Diesel
Barracuda- Tiny Lister
Luke Cage- Idris Elba
Iron Fist- Charlie Hunnam
Misty Knight- Sydney Potier
Colleen Wing- Devon Aoki
Shang Chi- Jason Scott Lee
Black Widow- Ivana Milicevic (but I like Emily Blunt)
Black Panther- Djimon Honsou
Blade- Brian J White
Dr. Strange- Joseph Fiennes
Terror, Inc- Johnny Depp
Werewolf by Night- Josh Holloway
Hannibal King- Jared Leto
Moon Knight- Desmond Harrington
Frenchie- Jean Reno
Orson Randall- Bruce Willis

It goes outside of a Daredevil movie, but I kinda hope Marvel treats the "MArvel Kngihts" like they did the Avengers, couple of solos that crossover everyonce in awhile

They're all very good choices, except Bruce Willis as Iron Fist. Why not Jason Statham?

IF THEY really get someone who loves the franchise like they did with Ironman and DC did with Batman DD could be amazing i actually think a DD film would suit the hyper realism angle TDK attempted and would actually suit DD better then Batman who imo is a more mythical legend type character i feel they really messed up making him a glorified cop in a suit.

just think for a moment, take out joker from TDK and insert bullseye put Kingpin in the background like (maroni or falconi) and use Elektra (before she turned into the assasin) in the Rachel role... it could be great.

What they HAVE to do though is use freerunning stunt doubles for the scenes of DD traversing the concrete jungle and some amazing fight scenes with acrobatics and of course some great inventive ways to show his abilities as they are in action.

i like it definitely. it does need to be very intense PG13. and i cant see Ray Winstone as Kingpin.

Bruce Willis isnt Iron Fist. Hes Orson Randall. I cast Charlie Hunnam as Iron Fist.

And never Jason Statham as Iron Fist. Statham has one very niche style performance and, beside his experience with martial arts, it is not consistent with how IF should be portrayed.

Can somebody manip Jordana Brewster into Elektra and that girl up there into Typhoid Mary

Katee Sackhoff as Typhoid Mary. Been a while since I've used photoshop, I'm a bit rusty, so this is a WIP. I'll go back and keep working on it.

Ray Winstone is IMO the only choice for The Kingpin. Every other choice I've heard has been god awful, frankly.
