Bruce Willis isnt Iron Fist. Hes Orson Randall. I cast Charlie Hunnam as Iron Fist.

And never Jason Statham as Iron Fist. Statham has one very niche style performance and, beside his experience with martial arts, it is not consistent with how IF should be portrayed.

I like Jason as Orson Randall better than Bruce Willis. Bruce is not a martial artist actor, Jason lost his luster when he plays a villain like Bullseye.

It's a consolation prize too for guys who like Statham as Iron Fist. Statham & Hunnam go duo will be a good Iron Fist movie.

Wow, I'm really digging Blackman's cast. Near perfection.

If they readdressed the origin, then they really really need to bring in stick as someone who saw Matt from the shadows and saw in him an anger that needed to be focussed in the right direction or otherwise lose him to the darker side of his potential. The first film basically leapt from his sense of touch giving him a finer balance, to him pulling off gymnastic feats and being a martial arts expert - plus he was dark the whole time.

Might as well do the man without fear storyline with some typhoid mary stuff, and also have karen page. Setting her up for a third movie, the second movie being the born again storyline. Its seems logical enough in my opinion.

My choice for Murdock & Nelson?

I still consider DD watchable because of those two. The movie suffered from poor writing and poor direction. (and FOX) Affleck & Favs were not the problem.

the Directors Cut is still in my list of top 10 favorite comic book films and I for one would have LOVED a direct sequel, too bad Afleck hated filming it. Though I don't see how when you have Jennifer Garner as a love interest (lets just say I'd do things to her)

although some of the dialog (namely the begining with Afleck describing Matt's accident, it's effects and powers, etc.) could've been written better

regardless, a reboot will do just fine

If we get a reboot...
who should direct?

I say David Fincher (Fight Club, Se7en) I would have wanted him for a Batman sequel, but I think a Daredevil reboot needs it alot more

Jon Favreau

partially for his success with Iron Man, but doesn't anyone think he'd direct a good Daredevil film?

or would he make it too much like the original (even though I loved the original which is why I suggested him) being that he was in it

Hes already doing his thing with Iron Man and is doing a great job with it
Why put him in charge of another franchise?

I say Ben Affleck could direct, bring that serious crime thriller tone that he did for Gone Baby Gone. Seriously, how awesomely poetic would that be?

Lol Affleck directing would be cool he did good with Gone Baby Gone

I myself thought Ben was a great choice for Matt. Kevin Smith thinks so too:p

But really, Im loving the idea of Michael C Hall.

And I really love the idea of Sackhoff as Typhoid Mary.

I wouldn't mind Affleck directing. He has enough respect for the character, and is a good enough director.

What do you guys think in terms of costume? Personally, I found that the DD costume in the 2003 film was the best thing about the movie. I wouldn't mind something similar.

Blackman's casting list was pretty good. Though I really liked Michael Clarke Duncan as Kingpin, the casting choices he made really were inspired. I would love to see that cast greenlighted.

Don't know much about Winstone beyond Beowulf, but on the image I can see him looking the part of Kingpin.

Nothing against the original cast because I didn't think Affleck, etc., was the problem. DD had a poor script.

Sam Worthington is my first pick for Hal Jordan in Green Lantern. However, should he ultimately not get the role, I think he could be an outstanding Daredevil/Matt Murdock.

Am I the only one that doesnt support Typhoid Mary being in a Daredevil movie?

I think we all wish for that..

edit: hey! did you just change your mind?

Isnt there something like if Fox doesnt make the movie within a certain timeframe they lose the rights?

and what do you think I changed my mind about?

Typhoid Mary has tangled with Deadpool in the past, yes?

and is it possible for Fox to lose its Daredevil rights?

I've said it before, I'll say it again...

Kevin Feige and all of Marvel need to storm the Fox offices with guns and get all their **** back. Daredevil, Fantastic Four, X-Men... all of it. I can take or leave Spidey at Sony. Aside from the third one, they've done okay.
