so if we got a reboot does anyone think there would be a stink thrown up about recasting the Kingpin?

If the guy was any less physically imposing or a lesser actor than Clarke Duncan - of course there would be flak. The whole thing for me about MCH's casting was, skin colour aside, that he was the actor with the closest attributes to the character. I understood that and was therefore ok with the cosmetic change; I got behind him and thought he gave a thoroughly fine performance.
But, if they manage to find someone even more 'comic accurate', then why not recast? I'm a tad of a pedant when it comes to characters looking as close to their comicbook counterparts if it can be done.
The Cosa Nostra? lol Yea I think everyone has heard of them, and they ain't white. Not white like Kingpin from the comics white anyway.
What if they find an unknown who actually looks the part..? Or what if they use a body suit..?But who in Hollywood looks more like Kingpin then MCD? I can't think of anyone, so I would stick with him.

I think Ray Winstone, except for being a little short looks enough, can handle an action scene, and act like the Kingpin to be cast.
TrueWinstone also trumps MCD in pretty much every way except size

If they are rebooting, than Bullseye should appear because they should introduce him as Daredevil's counterpart. Not as strong a relationship as say Batman and Joker, but Bullseye should be a "bad penny" kinda bad guy
But how is that really different from the first movie we got? When they rebooted Batman, they didn't use Joker again in Batman Begins, so perhaps to make the movie a tad different, they can use another villain.
Its not the same. Bullseye was the badguy in the first Daredevil. Even though Kingpin called the shots, Bullseye was in the thick of it. Making him a "bad penny" villain, which would be completely different adds something that has rarely been seen in comic movies. An actual rival. Not someone who just shows up for an installment, gets beat up, and is put a way, but someone who evades Daredevil and always comes back, sometimes just to screw with DD.
Yeah, I think it's fair to say that Bullseye is D/D's no.1 nemesis. He's such a good foil for Matt in a Yin and Yang kinda way.
Wouldnt mind seeing a 2nd cinematic stab at the Hand either.
I agree. They could definitely build up the backstory in more interesting ways on a TV show, not to mention have more characters and better overarching stories than they could ever have in another movie. But BE needs to have a mask or at least bandana with the target, instead of the fore-head brand. And the Matrix look was a fail (long dark trench coat). Get back to the sort of militant, covert look.
A prequel with Stick could be cool. The Hand would get another chance. I still think that they need to go with a TV show, in order to refresh the character.
