No TV show. THat would just waste time. They should focus on the big screen adaption.
Yea but Bullseye is the best villain DD's ever had.
You could make Bullseye into a reoccuring menace. But that doesn't mean he would be the ONLY menace.
Which would be even easier to do on a TV series.Too many villains can spoil a movie, like with Spidey 3.
Yes Bullseye is one of DD's better villains, but that doesn't mean he should be used in every movie. He is going to wear out his welcome and Kingpin will likely appear in most of the movies, so you don't need Bullseye to do so as well.
Frankly I think it would better to foreshadow Bullseye and build up and then have him appear in the second rebooted movie. Having kingpin and Bullseye appear in the first reboot movie is too similar to the first movie. When Batman was rebooted, Joker didn't appear in Batman begins, so maybe its better to save Bullseye for later.

With a good trailer, it will.It won't have general audience support for another run.

Just adapt Frank Miller's the man without fear for a reboot. Michael C. Hall or Guy Pearce would be a fine DD.
DD should be a hard R like the Crow.
Unlikable? He's the goddamn kingpin of crime! That's how antagonists work in movies.
^ Agreed... plus Kingpin should be able to rule from the inside as well. As I understand it... child molesters and the like, are not well regarded on the inside.
Kingpin should not be a Complete Monster, even in the comics he had sympathetic moments, like caring for his sick wife. He was never pure evil like was in that story.
Don't doubt Frank Miller. He knows what he's doing. He practically invented modern Batman. He made DD cool (which is pretty hard to do).
For all intents and purposes, it's almost impossible to stick to the comic anyway. Liberties have to be taken with any adaptation. I'm just saying make the DD reboot a hard "R", not just a chick flick with Ben Affleck.
Frank Miller has lost his mind, all of his recent stuff sucks, so I do doubt him.
The fact is there is a difference between an ordinary evil villain and a repulsively evil villain, it would be hard to think of Kingpin of classy and cool villain if he is dealing in kiddie porn. Kingpin should be evil, but not that evil.
I don't think that's realistic, especially after watchmen failed at the Box office.
I think more realistic is hard PG-13 like we saw in Dark Knight.
The Dark Knight made a lot of money because it got teenage girls who had a crush on Heath Ledger to spend their parent's money on ticket sales.
Yea seriously that's up there in the dumbest things I've read on here. And I've read a lot of dumb things.
The Kingpin doesn't need to be a child porn dealer. That is just typical Frank Miller nonsense. Don't get me wrong the guy has done some great stuff, but he is so prone to doing extreme things with characters for no other reason than shock value. Making Kingpin sell child porn falls into this category.
Kingpin should just be your typical crime lord. Running protection rackets, drug smuggling, gun running, vice and gambling. Him selling child porn is completely unnecessary.
