Chris Pine(smoking aces/Star Trek) would be a cool Daredevil

I just noticed him in "Bottleshock" (great little film) and actually thought he'd make an excellent young Steve Rogers/Captain America. I had no idea he was the new Captain Kirk. He seems too "all-American" to play Matt Murdock for me.

I've mentioned it before but minus a few key ingredients, I honestly feel that the Daredevil Director's Cut is on par with Batman Begins. Given the right treatment, a Daredevil sequel could be a huge step forward and a great, complex film.

No reboot. Just get the franchise right with a sequel. Release the "director's cut" in the theater, make it R, and keep Ben Affleck. Hulk and Punisher are examples to me of exactly why not to reboot/recast for the second movie after only a few years.

Affleck's not coming back. They can get someone better then him any way.

I agree about Punisher. TIH was better in execution IMO. It got close to breaking even, as well. It should make a profit quickly on dvd.

The Punisher hasn't come out yet and any comment on how it did in the theatres is rediculous. As far as TIH is concerned, you can comment on how it did and that movie was underwhelming and the fact it has to rely on DVD sales to come out even or make a profit indicates how poor it really was.

As far as TIH is concerned, you can comment on how it did and that movie was underwhelming

It got 9/10th of its money back from theaters.

It would only take a few months. It won't take ten years on dvd to get a profit.

No need to retread the origin story because it will waste 1/2 hour of film time, but it's not going to be a continuation of the 1st one.

They should keep MCD if they're using Kingpin, IMO. He's the only one who can comeback without a recast.

I'd like Garner to return as Elektra, who is more hardcore then the previous films, in a future sequel but the chances of that are zero.

Following the comic movie formula, the writers always add a love interest to make the movie more "date friendly". This is one case where I'd prefer they abandon the status quo and have Daredevil go it alone.

On another note, Garner is on the Forbes list as one of the most overpaid female actresses so she really isn't likely to be back. If Elektra is included, Julia Anderson deserves a shot at the role.

Throw in Kingpin's return, Mr. Fear, and end it with the return of Bullseye. I'd pay to see that.

Horn Head is my 3rd favorite behind Spidey and Batsy. They could make DD TDK quality if they wanted too. But they're probably not going to do that because they, for a lack of a better word, "suck".

They don't need to have a traditional execution. They could it like Nolan did with Karen Page. That's who I thought they should used in the original movie instead of Elektra.

It's good that she's in such demand. I do agree they should try to get a cheaper replacement but one who is a great actress in her own right.

The reason I think she wouldn't want to play the role is that I heard she hated the experience. She was a great IMO, especially in the spin-off. Garner would have nailed an hardcore Elektra very well it's a shame she didn't have good material to get that potential.

They shouldn't have the character in the second movie, though. Save her for a sequel or two later on. They could do the same thing by subtly mentioning the Affleck movie and ignoring the spin-off continuity.

If Elektra is included, Julia Anderson deserves a shot at the role.

Save Mr. Fear for a sequel. Two villains are enough. Kingpin and Bullseye can be in an adaption of Born Again.

The Incredible Hulk has pulled down $260 million worldwide. Even subtracting the budget and distribution costs, that's already a profit. DVD sales will be huge because word of mouth was quite good. That's all pure profit.

Besides, Iron Man and Hulk together have pulled down over $835 million and counting. That's quite a tag team.

I think they should do it like Incredible Hulk also. Karen Paige could be the love interest. MCD is great as the Kingpin. Make it darker like Dark Knight because Daredevil's a dark character not just because that movie did good. The villain could be.....hmmm I don't really know many Daredevil villains. If Elektra should eventually return but not right away and Bullseye should too since we saw him hit the fly with the needle in the last scenes of Daredevil.
